🌸🌷 Design Your Own Flowers Day!🌷🌸
Today each classroom used their creativity to design their own flowers!
In our Bridge classroom, students explored their classroom resources to create flowers. We discovered that star connectors make great flowers! We used our fine motor skills to connect the stars together and make bouquets.
At home this weekend, think outside the box with your children and try to make flowers! Go on a scavenger hunt outdoors or indoors and find unique materials.

🤝 Sensory meets gross motor play 🤝
Our First Steps classroom enjoyed their crawling tunnel today. They strengthened their gross motor skills by crawling through tunnel while also embracing fun sensory play.

✏️💌 Letters to a Loved One 💌 ✏️
We practiced our literacy skills by writing letters to a loved one! Prior to writing our letters, we learned about the five parts of a letter; heading, greeting, body, closing and signature!
Through this activity, children practiced their handwriting while also familiarizing themselves with letter formation. Each student had free choice to choose who the letter would be addressed to and what they wanted to write about.

At the Goddard School of Chester Springs, we are loving utilizing our playground on this nice warm day!
We used our gross motor skills to take turns going down the slide, play tag and do relay races! We also enjoyed using our outside resources such as the scooters and hula hoops.
