Meet Kam Owner

Kam has proudly owned and operated The Goddard School since its opening in 2008, but his connection to the school runs much deeper. Building the school was a personal commitment—rooted in his love for family and his belief that every child deserves a warm, nurturing place to learn and grow. As a parent of two Goddard graduates, Kam understands firsthand the importance of a safe and supportive early-learning environment. Kam holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science from the University of Oregon, with minors in Biology and Chemistry, and leads with heart, humility, and dedication to creating a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

The staff goes above and beyond to make parents and our daughter feel safe and at home. The preparation done on monthly calendars and parent communications are above and beyond. I also appreciate the curriculum and extra activities offered at the school. It's a perfect mix of learning and play.

The low ratio of students to teacher has been great for us. Our little one cried every day at drop off at the prior daycare and she's much happier and is happy at drop offs now at Goddard. We've also seen an improvement of her saying please and thank you more often since we started at Goddard.

The Goddard school in Friendswood is awesome! They have a staff that cares, is very communicative, and overall friendly and helpful. The curriculum has grown out daughter’s communication and social skills exponentially. Our child doesn’t have a good day everyday, but the team at the school around her helps her through the day and she always wants to go back!

4 STAR

Texas Rising Star is a quality rating and improvement system for Texas early childhood programs. The Texas Rising Star Provider certification system offers three levels of certification (2-star, 3-star and 4-star) to encourage providers to attain progressively higher certification requirements leading to a 4-star.
