In our Pre-K classrooms, we’re making math fun and exciting by introducing our little learners to simple addition! 🎉 Whether it’s using colorful counters, counting on fingers, or adding with everyday objects like blocks and buttons, our students are discovering that numbers work together in amazing ways!
Through interactive games, hands-on activities, and group learning, they’re developing essential early math skills, boosting their confidence, and most importantly having fun while learning! 🧮💡
Here are some of our favorite ways to practice addition in the classroom:
✅ Counting with manipulatives – Using small objects to visualize numbers
✅ Movement-based math – Jumping, clapping, or hopping to solve equations
✅ Story-based addition – Creating simple math stories to bring numbers to life

Our littlest learners are hard at work building strength, coordination, and confidence during tummy time! This essential activity helps infants develop the muscles they need for important milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, and eventually walking.
🌟 Why is tummy time so important?
🍼 Strengthens muscles – Helps develop neck, shoulder, and core strength.
👀 Enhances motor skills – Encourages reaching, pushing up, and early movement.
🗣 Supports sensory development – Helps infants explore their surroundings and build awareness.
💙 Active Supervision & Support 💙
Our teachers are fully engaged and attentive during tummy time, ensuring each baby is comfortable, safe, and encouraged. We use soft toys and gentle interactions to make this experience enjoyable and stimulating.

Each color represented not just a class but a sense of belonging, friendship, and shared experiences. From playful laughter to engaging activities, the day was filled with joy, connection, and pride in being part of our school family. Our preschoolers had a fantastic time creating their very own flower bouquets using stamps and art supplies to enhance fine motor skills! This hands-on activity was not only fun but also helped strengthen essential early learning skills.
🌟 What did we learn?
🖍 Fine Motor Development – Holding stamps, pressing them onto paper, and adding details helped strengthen little hands and fingers.
🌈 Color Recognition – Children explored different colors, mixed shades, and made choices about their designs.
🌺 Creative Expression – No two bouquets were the same—each child made something unique and special!
