The Goddard School of Novi (Grand River) serves Novi, Northville, South Lyon, and nearby areas. Our programs for infants to junior kindergarten nurture curiosity and a love of learning through play-based and inquiry-based activities. Our literacy-rich curriculum emphasizes social-emotional growth, creativity, critical thinking, and communication. With experienced teachers and a caring environment, we provide a strong foundation for your child’s lifelong learning journey.

Meet Derick

Owner

Derick and Bobbie Doe are thrilled to provide families of the greater Novi community with high-quality early childhood education in a warm, safe and nurturing environment. As proud owners of The Goddard School of Novi (Grand River), they bring their deep commitment to early childhood education and community engagement to life every day. Inspired by their son’s experience at a Goddard School, Derick & Bobbie recognized the importance of a high-quality, nurturing, learning environment and made the decision to build The Goddard School of Novi to inspire more children to reach their full potential in their next steps in school and life. Their vision for the school is to be a cornerstone of the community, where children build a strong foundation for academic and social success while fostering a lifelong love of learning. They believe in supporting not just children but their families, creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels like part of the Goddard family.

The daily reports are very thorough and I appreciate reading what they did/learned that day. My children still talk about the special visits & events, which is an added bonus!

We enjoy the app updates that we get with what activities our daughter did for the day and the thoroughness of her diaper changes, feeding, and napping. We feel that the staff truly care for our daughter and are attentive to her needs.

The Teachers and Staff love children and are dedicated to their health, happiness, and growth. The curriculum is expansive and includes all of the important developmental milestones. The building is also bright, inviting, and clean. We cannot say enough good things about The Goddard School Novi!
