Welcome to Our School

The Goddard School of Simpsonville (Five Forks) is a warm and nurturing space where extraordinary awaits your child each and every day.

Our school offers an NAEYC Accredited program with flexible scheduling, individualized curriculum and assessments, and exciting enrichment programs like LEGO Robotics. We provide classes for Infants through Jr. Kindergarten, as well as Kindergarten and First Grade. Contact us to learn more about our programs and future enrollment opportunities!

Meet Melanie

Owners
Bill and Melanie Hyatt own The Goddard School in Simpsonville, SC, which opened in June 2006, as well as The Goddard School of Greenville, which opened in January 2023, and The Goddard School of Greenville at Pelham Road, which opened in March 2025. Bill, originally from Greenville, SC, lived across the East Coast before opening a Goddard School. He earned a bachelor's in Retail Management from the University of South Carolina and has 30+ years of experience in retail and business operations. Melanie grew up in Hilton Head, SC, and met Bill at USC, where she earned a bachelor’s in Retail Management and a Master of Arts in Marketing Education. She also holds an Education certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. With 30+ years in education, Melanie has worked with students of all levels. Their passion for giving back and commitment to high educational standards drive their schools. They have three grown children and two grandchildren who attend Goddard.
