Midlothian (Woodlake) Reviews & Recognition

Everyone is amazing! They do an amazing job of supporting their teachers and it shows through their ability to be so dedicated to the kids. We have been to a few other preschools in the area and Goddard of Midlothian far exceeds them all! The curriculum has prepared my 5 year old for kindergarten both academically and emotionally. I can’t say thank you enough!

The staff at the Goddard School Woodlake was extremely flexible with me starting back to work after maternity leave and even last minute took my daughter a few days early full time. Every time we pop in our child is being so well cared for and always seems to have a good time. Most afternoons I even walk in on the staff playing with my child and she had a smile ear to ear.

The staff at Goddard Woodlake has treated us like family and loved my child as one of their own from the moment we walked in for a tour. My child LOVES school, loves her teachers and her classmates, and she is learning SO MUCH. The communication between the staff and parents has also been great. We could not have asked for a better preschool experience for our family.

Our teacher, Ms. Bao is amazing! I have seen significant improvement in my son’s academic skills. She puts so much time and effort into her lesson plans and she makes learning fun for the kids. My son wakes up ecstatic to go to school every day.

The staff is so understanding and uses great communication. Post-Covid, the kids are so out of routine, and not used to classrooms... we have had such great experiences with the staff being inviting, happy to see the kids (even when one of your kids is a teenager trapped in a 4-year-olds body... we are SO grateful). I couldn't have chosen a better environment for our kids to learn.

We have used Goddard for private kindergarten and before school care. I cannot say enough good things about this school! Their communication is top notch- they always answer any questions I have and communicate information to us that we need to know. My kids have never had any issues when they are there- they have always been taken care of and enjoy going! Ellie and Tom run a well organized school and I highly recommend them to anyone!

We just started at The Goddard School and we are already so comfortable with the staff and processes. They have made everything so easy on us and are handling issues like COVID exposures wonderfully. Our child has picked up so many new words and concepts (counting to 10, for example) in just a few short weeks of being there. She is napping and eating well and we love getting the progress updates each day.

The Goddard school at woodlake is like family. I have been so happy with all of my daughter's teachers; however, Ms. Ebony is absolutely amazing. My daughter is more than ready for kindergarten because of Ms. Ebony. She always feels safe, happy, and truly enjoys going to school because of the staff at Goddard. Goddard has laid an academic foundation for my little one that is priceless. I will never be able to thank them enough for all they have done for my favorite little person.

Goddard School teachers are talented and have long-term experienced wworking with children. I really like the way my son can explore his creativity trough the music in his classroom. Goddard has provided a lot of stability and academic support for my rising kindergartener. I think the curriculum is strong and consistent with the needs of a rising kindergartener.
