Our Teachers

Jake and Ashley are proud to be the on-site owners of The Goddard School in Gilbert and Cave Creek. They are parents of four children that attend The Goddard School. After working in management and sales for over 10 years Jake decided that he wanted to be able to spend more time with his family. He and his wife wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community along with his children. Jake is very proud and excited to own a business that is centered on his most important priority, Children and Families. He is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in both the Gilbert and Cave Creek area. Jake and Ashley look forward to getting to know you and your family, as well as being a part of the community.

Ms. Kaleigh has been a part of The Goddard family since August of 2019. She has a Bachelors of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and has been working in Early Childhood since 2013. She loves helping children learn and achieve new milestones and ensure that every child and teacher reaches their full potential while feeling supported and loved. Some of her favorite things to do in the classroom are using sign language to expand vocabularies, especially with our nonverbal littles, and taking activities outside such as water painting and chalk art.

Ms. Alex has been a part of the Goddard family since March of 2020 and is currently the Education Director. She has an Associates in Early Childhood Education and has been working in Early Childhood since 2013. She enjoys teaching because she loves seeing the children explore and expand their creativity! She implements a lot of open-ended questions in the classroom to get the children’s imagination going.

Ms. Lani has been working in Early Childhood Development since 2018 and gained her Child Development Associates in 2022. She joined the Goddard-Warner family in July of 2024. In her six years of experience of working as a teacher and as an administrator, she has found her true passion is to work with children and families. Her teaching philosophy aligns with the idea that all children are individuals who have individual needs and it is her job to fill those needs for the children in my care, while having a little fun along the way! She is currently studying at Grand Canyon University where she is working towards a degree in Speech Language Pathology to continue doing what she loves!

Ms. Desiree has been a part of the Goddard family since July of 2022 and has been in Early Childhood since 2017. She currently works as a Lead teacher in the Toddler classroom and is working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves watching the children blossom. Seeing her students faces light up when they learn a new concept is the most rewarding feeling for her. She enjoys bringing their likes and personalities into the curriculum. Her goal is for her kids to feel their classroom is a safe and fun learning environment.

Ms. Jess has been a part of The Goddard Gilbert II family since April of 2021. She has been working in Early Childhood since 2004 and currently works as a Lead Teacher in the Infant classroom. She loves working with children because it is so wonderful to see them reach milestones and achievements as they grow. She loves activities that allow for learning through exploration.

Ms. Adrianna has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2023. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2022. Ms. Adrianna loves helping her children learn and seeing that "a-ha" moment in their eyes when they grasp a concept is amazing. Reading an interesting book with the children is always one of her favorite calming activities.

Ms. MJ has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2022. She started her career in Early Childhood here with us. Ms. MJ loves to provide a safe learning environment for children that allows them to build growth and confidence. She loves to model positive behavior and redirection. She allows for those teaching moments and makes sure every child feels safe and happy.

Ms. Bri has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2023. She transferred from a Goddard School in Texas where she started her career in Early Childhood in 2021. Ms. Bri believes in teaching the children skills to become successful in their future. She sees her duties as a teacher is to make a positive impact and to build that trust between parents and children.

Ms. Afton has been a part of the Goddard family since August of 2022. She has been in Early Childhood since 2014 and currently works as our Preschool Lead Teacher. She loves working with children because she loves how creative they are. She loves exploring the world with them and creating diverse activities to help the children explore their senses. She loves implementing kinetic sand, water play and art. It provides them with an opportunity of discovery and self-expression.

Ms. Kay has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her careers in Early Childhood in 2021. Ms. Kay loves seeing the kids grow into their own personalities and seeing them develop new skills. She loves doing finger painting in the classroom as well as fine motor skill activities to develop their hand eye coordination.

Ms. Nicci has been a part of the Goddard family since February of 2021. She has been working in Early Childhood since 2015, and currently works as the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Ms. Nicci works hard to help prepare her students for kindergarten and implements daily learning in her classroom. She finds working with children and teaching them so rewarding. Her favorite activities in the classroom are science experiments and art. She also loves any activities that give children the chance to express their own individuality.

Ms. Kelsey has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2021. Ms. Kelsey loves watching the children in her care grow and succeed in the tasks they do. She loves doing sensory play as it is not only educational but fun to see the different reactions the children share.

Ms. Kayla has been working with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2022. Ms. Kayla likes working with children because she loves seeing their developing personalities. Creating a bond with the children and families is one of the many reasons she enjoys teaching.

Ms. Sydney has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2017. Ms. Sydney loves watching and helping the children grow and learn in a safe, positive manner. She enjoys doing music time with the children because she believe it plays a big role in their life. They learn how to use words and expression themselves in the classroom and out in the world.
