I’m a working mother of 2 young children with a passion for Early Childhood Education. Since they were infants, I've seen the difference that high-quality, early childcare has made in preparing my children for school and life. I am thrilled to own and operate The Goddard School and provide Westport and surrounding communities with a high quality, joyful childcare experience!

Nadia comes to the Goddard School with over 15 years of Early Childhood experience with all age groups, infants through school-aged children. She holds her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, credentials in Early Childhood Education, and the State of Connecticut Director’s Credentials. Nadia’s goal is to provide a high-quality care and enriched learning environment where each child’s uniqueness matters.

It is such a pleasure to be around children, positively impact their lives and watch how they grow and achieve many milestones along the way. I love creating an environment where children can learn through play, have fun, explore, and be themselves!

I have always had a passion for teaching. Early childhood is such an amazing time and being able to be a part of the growth and development of children is truly a blessing. I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with the staff, children, and families here at The Goddard School.

As an early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience, I’m thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family because I share their educational philosophy that young children learn best through play. I feel fortunate to be in a profession where I’m able to guide and encourage children at such a fun and important development stage in their lives!

I love working with children and being a crucial part of their learning journey. It is a privilege for me to encourage and foster life-long learning habits in all my students through play and interactive experiences. 

I love teaching because children are so eager to learn new things and I like to introduce them to new experiences! Their sense of humor and outlook on life brightens my day as an educator!

I love teaching because I have an opportunity to watch the children grow and become independent. I enjoy seeing them take what they have learned and apply it to their world. I love that the children also teach me something new too!

Playing with a purpose is what I enjoy most about teaching, and The Goddard School’s play-based curriculum supports that philosophy. I am excited to be a part of an environment where I get to see all children actively learning and growing. As the children are learning I am also learning about them and the field itself. It is such a rewarding feeling knowing that I can make a positive influence in the child's life.

Watching young children learn, grow and thrive through play and knowing that I have played an important role in that is one of most rewarding aspects of my career in early childhood education! The best part is witnessing that “ah-ha” moment in a children’s eyes when they make a connection to something you have taught them as their teacher!

I love teaching because I look forward to seeing the joy on children’s faces when they learn something new. I enjoy developing relationships with each and every child and watching them grow.

I love working with infants because so much growth happens at this youngest age. It’s wonderful also to see children’s individual personalities and senses of humor develop as well! Nurturing and teaching go hand in hand for children to thrive, so everyday is filled with encouragement and fun activities in our classroom.

Working with children is my passion. The Goddard philosophy of providing children with a fun learning experience fits my teaching values and beliefs as well. I love to laugh and smile while guiding children through their days filled with joy and adventure.

I enjoy Goddard because here we listen to children as part of the daily classroom activities. I am the oldest of four children and have always been the designated babysitter. In addition, I am a mother to a beautiful and energetic son as well as a godmother to four incredible children. I believe that every child is unique and special!

I love working in Early Childhood Education because I want to help shape a child’s life! It’s rewarding to know as teachers we can guide and help children become the bet they can be and make the smile!

Working in early childhood education is a rewarding journey filled with moments of joy, growth, and endless possibilities from witnessing the wonder of a child's first steps to nurturing their curiosity and creativity. As an early childhood educator, I have the privilege of shaping young minds, fostering a love for learning, and making a lasting impact on future generations.

There’s nothing better than watching an infant grow into an inquisitive little person. I love that I’m there to help them figure out all the new obstacles that come their way. Watching them hit milestones, develop confidence and grow is beyond rewarding!

I chose to teach because I know the importance of having a supportive and healthy foundation for learning. My favorite part is that I can create this by building meaningful relationships with the children in which I get to share in their joy when they conquer new milestones. Every day is an opportunity to be creative and for both students and teachers to learn from each other and grow. I’m excited to be a part of their learning journey!

As a new teacher, I find joy in working with children because of their curiosity and eagerness for learning. I love how they have an innate ability to make me laugh by turning the simplest moments into fun experiences. It’s refreshing to see the world through their eyes, these lighthearted moments create a positive environment which is what makes me enjoy it so much.

I have always loved caring for and looking after children. Watching and helping guide infants through the first year of life is my favorite. From trying solids for the first time to taking their first steps, its always a privilege to see them grow!

A seed needs water, sun, love, and care to grow. With guidance along the way the seed transforms into a beautiful flower ready to keep on blooming. I am happy to be part of your child’s personal growth journey while providing a safe and caring environment. Where their physical, social, and cognitive skills will be developing through exploration, asking questions, creativity, imagination and most important all through play !

I enjoy working with children because it allows me to create strong relationships with them and their families. Observing children's progress and milestones is something that I feel contributes to a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Children need educators that truly want to see the best for them and that’s why I love being able to add to the the development of the their learning and advocating for their needs and rights, which can have a beneficial impact on their life.

My passion for early childhood education stems from a deep belief in the power of hands-on learning and exploration. As an enrichment and social studies teacher, I treasure the opportunity to introduce children to the richness of diverse cultures, histories, and communities. Watching them explore, laugh, and engage in activities that spark creativity and critical thinking fills me with joy. My goal is to guide them in becoming compassionate global citizens who care deeply for the people, animals, and planet we share, fostering a sense of connection and responsibility that will last a lifetime.

I love teaching because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives by helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Watching children grow and succeed, knowing I’ve played a part in their journey, is very fulfilling for me. Teaching allows me to combine my passion for learning with my desire to make a positive impact every day.
