Meet Jay

Owner

Education: Mr. Jay holds a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy and a J.D. from Duke University.

Experience: After 21 years of practicing law in Atlanta, Georgia, and Washington, D.C., Mr. Jay transitioned to early childhood education by becoming the owner of The Goddard School in Sandy Springs. His priority is ensuring parents feel confident that their children are nurtured, educated, loved, and protected. He is actively involved in the school's classrooms and daily operations. As a father, he understands the importance of providing a high-quality alternative to standard childcare.

Affiliations: Mr. Jay is a past Vice President and former Board Member of the Georgia Child Care Association.

I appreciate the consistency that the Goddard School provides with my son's schedule, the communication that they foster via their application, the photographs that I get on a daily basis, and the activities that are done with my son. I feel he is in good hands and is stimulated in many ways that foster his growth and development.

We absolutely love the Goddard School. We are excited to hear all of the concepts they are teaching each week. They are challenging my 3 year old teaching science and terms that I would think wouldn't happen until 2nd grade or later, but the kids are keeping up and really understanding which is a beautiful thing. Also, my son can't get enough of singing his ABCs in Spanish. He's learned this in only 2 short weeks with the school!

The Goddard School, Sandy Springs has become a home away from home for my child. The teachers are very loving and caring. The children are taken outside to play at least twice a day. The teachers also take efforts to teach languages(English and Spanish) and self-help skills in a fun way, and my son has developed a healthy interest in learning new things. My son comes home happy, after a fun filled day and I couldn't be happier!
