OwnerI am very excited and proud to be the on-site owner of Goddard School in Cumming North area located on Freedom Parkway. As a working mother of two boys, I recognized the importance of having a quality pre-school for my boys. I have a Bachelor’s in Finance & Computer Science. I also have a CDA and TCC in early childhood program management. Our highly qualified teachers provide the best STEAM & Enrichment based preschool preparation. Our focus is not only on academic skills but also on the social, emotional, and physical development of your child. We want to provide the children in our school with the best possible care in a safe, healthy, and fun-loving environment. We live in Johns Creek and have 2 boy’s and the younger one attended Goddard School. We are passionate about education and want to ensure that the children get the best early childhood education at Goddard Cumming North. I have a bachelor’s degree from India and prior to joining Goddard, I was a business owner in the fashion industry for 22 years. Being an on-site owner, I welcome your comments and concerns. Education DirectorMeet Ms. Davona Williams, Ms. Williams has 10+ years' experience working with students as a teacher and early learning daycare worker. She is from South Florida, and has received her Bachelors degree in public relations from the University of Florida and Masters degree in public administration from Florida Atlantic University. Teaching and working with children is her passion, and she is super excited to join the Goddard Team and help support the academic success of our children! -

Lead Infant TeacherMeet Miss Deanna, who recently moved to Georgia from California last year. She holds an AS degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Teaching Credentials in Elementary Education and Special Education. Miss Deanna is a mother of two, a son and a daughter. She has always had a passion for working with children and has experience in both public schools and private childcare centers. She holds the belief that there is as much for her to learn from the children as there is for them to learn from her. She finds joy in observing their excitement when they master something new. -

Pre-Toddler Lead teacherMeet Mrs. Asha. She has my bachelor's degree in (CSE) Computer Science & Engineering. She is really excited to begin the next chapter of my teaching career at The Goddard School of Cumming. I am the proud mother of two young boys and a dedicated wife to my husband. I strive to make a difference and am fortunate to continue teaching. -

Toddler Lead TeacherMeet Miss Salina, who has over seven years of experience in childcare and has spent three years at Goddard. She is a mother of a newborn son and a daughter, both of whom attend The Goddard School. Miss Salina has experience working in all classrooms and excels in potty training. She is CPR certified and is currently preparing for her CDA. -

Get Set Lead TeacherMeet Mrs. Hari, who is optimistic about a great year ahead for all her students to learn and grow together. Prior to joining our team, she taught children in India and assisted with community daycare. She earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from JNTU University and has experience as an assistant professor in an engineering college. Mrs. Hari enjoys celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving, loves visiting beaches, and is a proud mother of two children. -
Savannah
Bridge Lead TeacherMrs. Savannah is the Lead Teacher in our Bridge classroom and has been with Goddard for five years. She has experience working with all age groups, from infants to after-school children. Her favorite aspect of childcare is "getting to know each child in my class and discovering what makes them unique." She enjoys observing their growth and learning, as well as their artistic creativity. Mrs. Savannah holds CPR and First Aid certifications. In her free time, she cherishes moments with her family, enjoys shopping, and loves exploring the outdoors. As a dedicated mother, police officer's wife, and dog owner, she brings a lot of joy to our team at Goddard Cumming North. We are thrilled to have her, and she eagerly anticipates meeting you! -

Bridge- Assistant TeacherMeet Kyla, an 18-year-old assistant teacher in the EPS program. She has dedicated over a year and a half to working at Goddard, where she wholeheartedly loves and enjoys teaching the children. Eager to share her knowledge, she aims to support each child according to their unique needs. Kyla is CPR certified and is currently pursuing her CDA. Her ultimate goal is to become a Registered Nurse. In her leisure time, she delights in exploring new destinations she's never visited before. -

Co - Lead Preschool 2Meet Mrs. Erin, she has taught preschool for over 10 years. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment and help students grow throughout their time together. She believes that every student is capable of greatness. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, things such as walking her dog and playing board games. She is looking forward to a wonderful year of teaching, laughter and, most of all, fun with her class. -

Co - Lead Preschool 2Rama is one of our Get Set teachers. She has a bachelor's degree in information technology. She started her childcare career here with us two years ago. So far, she enjoys, "working with the kids in her class and making a difference in their lives and enjoy seeing them smile." We are happy to have her here at Goddard Cumming North! -

Ga Prek 2 Lead TeacherLaura Woolbright joined Goddard School North this year. This is her sixth year teaching Georgia Pre-K. She has previously taught Private Pre-K, First and Second grades. Laura is from New York where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue New York. She has lived in Forsyth County since 2004, She has three grown children and lives with her husband in Johns Creek. Laura enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Her desire to be a teacher started in from when she was a child. “Teaching children is a profession I am so fortunate to be a part of. Helping them learn and watching them grow is amazing and satisfying. I can’t imagine doing anything else!” -

Assisant Ga-Prek 2 TeacherMeet Mrs. Catherin, Mrs. Catherin began her career in HR before becoming a stay-at-home mom for five years to her children, now aged 4 and 7. When her children started school, she aspired to be the trusted individual a mother could leave her child with while returning to work, leading her to embark on a preschool teaching journey last August. Her experience has been nothing short of pure bliss. Beyond her professional life, she enjoys creating videos and capturing moments. With a supportive spouse and two young children, family is her ultimate joy. -

Lead GA Pre-K TeacherWe are delighted to introduce Mrs. Kim, who is excited to embark on her first year of teaching at Goddard. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. As a mother of two wonderful children, an 11-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl, she enjoys a bustling household that includes her husband and their Goldendoodle, Simon. Her favorite pastimes include scrapbooking, socializing with friends, and watching television. Mrs. Kim is looking forward to a fantastic school year! -

Assistant Teacher Ga PrekMrs. Lori is excited tobe apart of Goddard teaching team this year as a Georgia Pre-K assistant. Mrs. Lori brings fifteen years of experience in prekindergarten education. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities from Florida State University. Previously, she has worked as both a Lead and Assistant Ga Pre-K teacher at a local school. Mrs. Lori lives in Forsyth County with her husband and their three daughters. Her eldest daughter has recently started her teaching career, following in her footsteps. Her second daughter is pursuing a business degree at Georgia College, and her youngest is about to graduate from high school. In her free time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. For Mrs. Lori, working with children at this pivotal age and observing their growth and accomplishments throughout the year is incredibly rewarding. Seeing their charming little faces is a delight. -

GA Prek 2Meet Mariana! Born and raised in Georgia with Mexican heritage, Mariana has dedicated herself to Early Childhood Care since 2012, starting at the young age of 17. Her passion lies in nurturing children and fostering their educational growth. In 2021, she earned her Paraprofessional Certification and has since been serving as a Pre-K Assistant. Mariana is an extrovert who lives by the motto "Work hard, play hard!" She ensures that while children learn a great deal, they also have ample fun. Additionally, Mariana has been joyfully married to Erik since 2013 and is a proud mother to a remarkable 10-year-old boy named Ian, as well as to her two beloved pets, Zoey and Luna. -

Lead Pre-K TeacherMrs. Edwards is our Prekindergarten Lead teacher, she is innovative and passionate about her responsibilities of educating all students. After retiring from the United States Navy, Mrs. Edwards started House of Fun and Phonics Preschool in Brunswick, ME of which she owned and operated for ten years. Mrs. Edwards relocated to California MD, and immediately started working at Lexington Park Elementary School. Ultimately, the Edwards family decided to retire in Georgia, where Mrs. Edwards began working as a substitute teacher in Gwinnett County until accepting the position of Private Prekindergarten Lead Teacher Johns Creek Kiddy Academy. Mrs. Edwards received her education at The University College, Adelphia MD in Social Science Bachelors, Minor in Business Administration, and Associate of Art. -

Prek-1 Assistant TeacherMeet Mrs. Alma, who prefers to be called Jessie. Born in Mexico, she was raised in Cumming and is an alumna of Forsyth Central High School. She resided in Gwinnett County until three years ago. Jessie is a mother to a five-year-old son and enjoys hiking, swimming, and crafting in her spare time. -

Resource TeacherWith a master’s degree in chemistry and four years of diverse teaching experience in both the US and India, Neha Bring's a unique perspective to our school as a teacher. As a dedicated educator and a mother of two young children, she understands the importance of fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Neha's international experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of various educational systems and teaching methodologies, enabling me to effectively assist in creating inclusive and engaging classroom experiences. -
