Laura Carter has been the Director of our school since 2011. She earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in child development schools since 1996, with much of that time in an administrative or leadership role. Her vast experience includes time as a Director, Assistant Director, Preschool Supervisor, and Team Leader. As our school Executive Director, she is able to fully utilize her in-depth understanding of early childhood education, administrative experience, leadership skills, and personal abilities on a daily basis. Laura was nominated as Teacher of the Year by PSO-ICCA in 2004. As an administrator, Laura is focused on keeping teachers and children fresh and motivated, while maintaining state standards, providing a valued education, and offering a trusting and caring environment for families. She maintains a passion for results and commitment to excellence, with unwavering determination at all times.

College / University: Joliet Junior College Experience: Working with children since 2009. Ms. Amanda is excited to work at The Goddard School because she is passionate about working with children.

Ms. Analiz Wacky Walrus/Lead Teacher Degree / Education: Associates Degree in Applied Science and studied Early Childhood Education College / University: Morton College/ Experience: Ms. Analiz has been working with children since 2011. Ms. Bethany Laughing Lobsters / Preschool Teacher / Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood. College / University: Waubonsee Community College/ Experience: Ms. Bethany has been working with children since 2007. Ms. Brittany Dancing Dolphins / Lead Teacher / Education: Pursuing a degree in Biology, with a minor in teaching College / University: Joliet Junior College/ Experience: Ms. Brittany has been working with children since 2012. Ms. Heather Traveling Turtles/ Pre-Kindergarten Teacher / Education: Studied Early Childhood Education College / University: Roosevelt University/ Experience: Ms. Heather has been working with children since 2008. Ms. Kim Sleeping Starfish / Lead Teacher / Education: Working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education College / University: Joliet Junior College/ Experience: Ms. Kim has been working with children since 2019. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because every day is like a new adventure. She loves being able to experience the growth and development the children have learned through her intricate teaching.

Ms. Natty Clever Clownfish /Lead Teacher / Education: Child Development Associate Credential College / University: Council for Professional Recognition Experience: Ms. Natty has been working with children since 2002 She is excited to work at The Goddard School because it brings her great joy to be able to experience children learning something new and exciting through her teachings.

Ms. Neena Swimming Seals / Lead Teacher / Education: Bachelor of Science Experience: Ms. Neena has been working with children since 2018. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because not only does she enjoy teaching children through fun and interactive lessons, but she also enjoys the reward of being able to watch children learn and grow.

Ms. Noshina Artful Octopus / Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Degree / Education: Bachelor's in English Literature Experience: Ms. Noshina has been working with children since 2000. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because of how rewarding, important and significant it is to contribute to a child's overall educational development and growth.

Ms. Rachael Wacky Walrus II / Lead Preschool/Pre-k Teacher / Education: Child Development Credential College / University: Moraine Valley Experience: Ms. Rachael has been working with children since 2005. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because of the opportunity it provides in being able to watch children grow and develop into confident, self-sufficient learners.

Ms. Dilini Swimming Seals / Assistant Preschool Teacher / Education: Bachelor of Arts in History. Ms. Dilini is excited to work at The Goddard School because she enjoys incorporating exploration and discovery in the classroom.

Ms. Jocelyn Clever Clownfish/ Assistant Toddler Teacher/ Education: Studying Child Life at Illinois State University. Ms. Jocelyn has been working with children since 2018. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because she understands that all children are unique and need a teacher that will cater to their individual needs in a safe and stimulating environment. Ms. Jocelyn wants to create a classroom where children can flourish and explore allowing them to reach their full potential.

Ms. Lanaya/ Assistant Teacher/ Education: Currently studying at Central Michigan University. Ms. Lanaya has been working with children since 2018. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because she believes as an early childhood educator it is her responsibility to provide each student with positive learning experiences.

Ms. Jinal Sleeping Starfish / Lead Infant Teacher / Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business and is also pursuing a Child Development Associate Credential. Ms. Jinal has been working with children since 2019. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because she understands that children learn best through play.

Ms. Bridget Traveling Turtles / Lead Pre-K Teacher / Education: Pursing a degree in Educational Psychology. Ms. Bridget has been working with children since 2016. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because she focuses on the specific needs of each child and also differentiates the learning environment to emphasize each child's unique skills.

Ms. Tamara Kitchen Manager / Education: Registered Behavioral Technician and Paraprofessional with K to 12 Special Education. Ms. Tamara has been working with children since 2001. She is excited to work at The Goddard School because she is able to continue her passion of educating children and promoting healthy food habits.
