I am a graduate of UCLA where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology. I have been blessed with this extraordinary opportunity to work with young children since January 2004. I am dedicated to providing your children with a quality, loving, hands on, exciting learning environment! I look forward to the opportunity to welcome you to the Goddard family!

I am the Director of Education at The Goddard School of Geist. I have been with The Goddard School since 2007. Before becoming the Director, I taught both high school and preschool levels. I am a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Psychology and Spanish. I enjoy working at The Goddard School because the children, families, and staff are all amazing! With nine classrooms, this school is just the right size to create a cozy, family-oriented atmosphere.

Welcome! My name is Tara and I am the Assistant Director here at The Goddard School of Geist. I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2017, and most of that time has been with 2-year-olds. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree. I have a daughter that is a graduate of The Goddard School of Geist. It is because of her that I fell in love with this profession. My favorite part of teaching is "watching gears turn" in their minds as they learn new concepts! I am excited for the opportunity to work with your family!

I would love to have your little pride and joy in our Infant classroom! I am a graduate of Cathedral High School and have completed two years at Ivy Tech. I have been a teacher in our Infant classroom since 2013. I enjoy caring for infants as they grow and learn new skills. The Goddard School is the best fit for me because the family, kids, and faculty are loving people to be around.

Welcome to the Starfish classroom! I am the mother of three sons and grandmother of three granddaughters. I am currently completing my certification in Early Childhood Education. I previously worked at another Goddard School in Georgia, so once I relocated, I decided to join The Goddard School here in Geist. Children are my passion and I love seeing them bloom! The many funny things they say and do never cease to amaze me. I feel blessed to be a part of their journey!

Welcome to the Octopus classroom! My name is Taylor and I'm very excited to work with your children! I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Indiana State University, but I have always loved working with children. I was a nanny for over a year which lead me to want to further my career in early childhood education. I am looking forward to working with students and being part of The Goddard School of Geist family!

Welcome to the Octopus classroom! My name is Stephanie, and I enjoy implementing lesson plans with my students. Helping children reach their developmental milestones and grow into confident learners puts a smile on my face!

Welcome to the Sea Otter room! I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching preschool for over 12 years. I enjoy planning hands-on science and art activities based on children's interests to help keep them engaged. I love to extend learning outside whenever possible!

I am a Multi-age Teacher for The Goddard School of Geist. Although I work with all age groups, the Infants, Toddlers, and Two's are my specialty. I have my certification as a Medical Assistant from IUPUI. I currently work part-time for the hospital and part-time at The Goddard School of Geist. I have worked with children for over seventeen years and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy teaching children new things and learning from them as well.

I joined the Goddard School in 2017, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. I studied Elementary Education in the Philippines and was a licensed teacher. The Goddard School of Geist is my first teaching opportunity in the United States. I am excited to make a daily impact on your child’s life. I enjoy partnering with teachers and parents to develop each child’s full potential!

Welcome to the Orca classroom! My name is Ashley and I am excited to work with your toddler! I have been working with children since 2019, and before that, I was an active babysitter! I chose The Goddard School because of their reputation both as a great place for children and teachers! My favorite thing to do in my classroom is having dance parties with my students!

Welcome to The Goddard School of Geist! My name is Liz and I am the Lead Teacher in the Bridge classroom. I am currently pursuing my Associates Degree in Education. I am excited to be working with "pre-preschool" age children. My favorite thing about teaching is watching a child’s excitement when he/she learns something new. I want each of my students to be successful in the classroom and later in life!

Welcome to the Bridge classroom! My name is Alexis and I am the Assistant Teacher. I have been working with children since 2017. I have three sons that keep me busy! My favorite part of working with toddlers is partnering with families to help children meet their developmental milestones.

Welcome to the Seahorse classroom! My name is Elise and I am so excited to work with your children! I have been teaching preschool since 2020, and I love it! My goal each school year is to build a relationship with my students and help them build relationships with their peers. We will be learning through activities that are aligned with developmentally appropriate curriculum. I believe play should be a big part of the day. I am thrilled to be on the The Goddard of Geist teaching team!

Welcome to the Seahorse classroom! My name is Tamkeen and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool 1 room. I have been teaching since 2019. I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the US when I got married. I love to be around children! Teaching preschool at Goddard allows me to use my passion for education while I learn even more about this field!

Welcome to the Stingray classroom! My name is Makayla. I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I have worked with children extensively. I am excited to continue this work at The Goddard School of Geist. I look forward to working with you and helping your child grow!

Welcome to Pre-K! My name is AJ and I am excited to work with your child! I have been working in education since 2021. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in psychology, and I also hold a CDA. My biggest hope is to instill a sense of independence as my students prepare for elementary school!

Welcome to The Goddard School of Geist! My name is Zoey and I am the Pre-K teacher. I have been working with children since January 2020. I love how children are so curious and eager to explore. I hope to help my students love school and become life-long learners!

I am excited to welcome you to The Goddard School of Geist! As a Resource Teacher, I enjoy getting to work with various age groups each day. After 35 years dedicated to education, I take pride in developing age-appropriate lessons for the children to enjoy in activities such as, singing songs, reading books, creating artwork and exercising their bodies.

My name is Maggie and I am on the Resource Team! I work in the early hours of the morning, 7:00-9:00am to support classroom opening schedules. My son has been attending The Goddard School of Geist since 2021. In 2023, I decided to join the teaching team here at The Goddard School of Geist. I am also a gymnastics coach, and I love doing fun and active things with our students!

Welcome! My name is Katie and I am part of the resource teaching team! That means I help out all around the school. I love getting to know everyone and building those relationships!
