Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Heidi became the Onsite Owner of The Goddard School of Arnold in January 2021. Before assuming this role, she served as a Franchise Consultant with Goddard Systems, Inc., where she gained extensive knowledge of school operations nationwide. With a degree in Psychology and a strong background in early childhood education, she fulfilled her long-term goal of owning and operating a school. Heidi is committed to fostering a family-centered learning environment that values the unique strengths of every child and teacher. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Mrs. Jackie has worked in early childhood education since 2005. She earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies, establishing a strong foundation in child development and leadership. Jackie joined The Goddard School of Arnold in 2011 as a two-year-old teacher, later taught preschool, and advanced to Assistant Director in 2017. In 2022, she was proudly promoted to Director. In this role, Jackie is dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging environment where children thrive and families feel welcomed. She values building strong relationships with families and mentoring teachers to grow both personally and professionally. With her classroom background and leadership experience, she brings compassion and commitment to her work each day. Outside of school, Jackie enjoys reading, movies, and time with her husband and three children.

Mrs. Katie joined The Goddard School of Arnold in September 2022, bringing over a decade of experience from another Goddard School in the area. In February 2025, she advanced to the role of Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University and is a certified teacher. Mrs. Katie is passionate about fostering children’s natural curiosity and takes joy in the enthusiasm they bring to the classroom as they explore and discover new concepts. Outside of school, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and watching movies.

Ms. Erin is a dedicated educator who has been an integral part of our teaching team since 2013. A graduate of Southern High School in Harwood, MD, she holds certification in infant and toddler care. With over a decade of experience, she is passionate about building meaningful connections with each child and takes pride in supporting their growth as they reach important developmental milestones. Ms. Erin finds great fulfillment in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Ciara joined The Goddard School of Arnold in June 2025, bringing over two years of experience in the early childhood field. She finds joy in watching children reach new milestones, develop their unique personalities, and grow in a safe, caring environment. Being part of their early development is especially rewarding to her, and she loves creating a space where children feel supported, curious, and confident. Ms. Ciara also values building strong, trusting relationships with families and working together to ensure each child thrives. She is currently pursuing her degree in Elementary Education at Anne Arundel Community College to further her career in teaching. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, exploring new restaurants, and taking her dog to the park.

Ms. LaCrisha became a valued member of The Goddard School of Arnold in August 2024, bringing with her more than 15 years of experience in the field of early childhood development. She holds a 90-hour certification in Infant and Toddler Care as well as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, underscoring her strong foundation in both classroom practice and child-centered learning. Throughout her career, Ms. LaCrisha has been dedicated to fostering growth, curiosity, and confidence in young learners, and she takes great pride in the meaningful impact she makes on their lives each day. Her nurturing approach, combined with her deep knowledge of early education, helps create a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where children thrive. Outside the classroom, Ms. LaCrisha enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, watching horror films, and relaxing with her favorite video games.

Ms. Debbie joined The Goddard School of Arnold in July 2025, bringing two years of experience working with young children. She is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about being part of each child’s growth. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children become their best selves as they learn, discover, and reach new milestones. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her boyfriend. Ms. Debbie looks forward to building strong connections with her students and supporting their development in a warm, nurturing environment.

Ms. Sand joined our school in July 2023, bringing seven years of professional experience in early childhood education. She has earned a 90-hour Infant and Toddler Certification from Howard Community College and completed two additional years of Early Childhood Education coursework. With a strong commitment to fostering growth and discovery, Ms. Sand particularly values the moment when young learners gain confidence through problem-solving and begin to understand cause-and-effect relationships. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive and engaging environment where each child can thrive. Outside of her professional role, Ms. Sand enjoys practicing martial arts, playing video games, and spending time with her fiancé, as well as her dog and cat. She is dedicated to contributing her expertise and passion for early childhood education to our school community.

Ms. Tracy joined The Goddard School of Arnold in October 2024 and brings more than two decades of experience in early childhood education, having begun her career in 2000. She holds multiple certifications in early childhood development and education, making her a valued member of our teaching team. Ms. Tracy is passionate about supporting young learners and especially enjoys witnessing their growth as they develop independence and problem-solving skills. Outside the classroom, she enjoys writing.

Ms. Morgan joined our school community in December 2023 and brings over five years of experience in early childhood education, including several years at the Dover Air Force Base Child Development Center. She is passionate about supporting children’s growth and fostering a love of learning, and she especially enjoys hearing their unique perspectives on the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Morgan enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, reading, writing, and going to the movies.

Mrs. Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Geneva College, with concentrations in Education and Psychology. She brings more than 12 years of experience in early childhood education, where she is dedicated to fostering growth, learning, and development in young children. Mrs. Lauren finds great joy in supporting her students as they achieve important milestones and takes pride in creating a nurturing, engaging environment that inspires curiosity and confidence. In addition to Mrs. Lauren’s love for teaching, she also enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, ballroom dancing, and playing board games with her family.

We were delighted to welcome Mrs. Belicia to our school community in March 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University and brings more than six years of experience in early childhood education. Dedicated to fostering each child’s growth and development, Mrs. Belicia is passionate about creating nurturing, engaging learning experiences. Outside the classroom, she enjoys sewing, reading, and playing video games.

Ms. Julie joined our school community in March 2025, bringing with her more than five years of experience in early childhood education. She is currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about fostering a lifelong love of learning in young children. In the classroom, she enjoys guiding students as they discover new concepts and develop confidence in their abilities. Outside of work, Ms. Julie enjoys spending time with friends, going on walks, and exploring creative projects through arts and crafts.

Ms. Sam joined The Goddard School of Arnold in May 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and care. She holds a 90-hour Preschool Certification and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and growth. Dedicated to helping children discover their potential, Ms. Sam values building strong connections with both students and families. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys hiking scenic trails, camping, spending time with friends and family, and pursuing her passion for photography.

Ms. Ana joined The Goddard School of Arnold in November 2023 and brings over eight years of experience in early childhood education. She recently earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Education from Liberty University. Passionate about fostering growth and development, Ms. Ana especially values the meaningful relationships she builds with children and their families. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cuisines.

Ms. Leah joined the Goddard Arnold team in October 2021 after three years of experience at another Goddard school in the area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications as well as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in preschool education. Dedicated to fostering growth and confidence, Ms. Leah enjoys guiding children as they develop new skills, celebrate accomplishments, and express their unique personalities. A certified yoga instructor, she integrates mindfulness and movement into the classroom, enriching her students’ learning experiences. Outside of school, Ms. Leah enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.

Ms. Maureen joined The Goddard School of Arnold in August 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Stevenson University and brings more than six years of experience in the early childhood field. She is passionate about fostering curiosity and creativity, and her favorite part of working with young children is witnessing the excitement and imagination that emerge as they explore and problem-solve. Outside the classroom, Ms. Maureen enjoys reading, spending time on the water, and listening to music.

Ms. Keiya joined The Goddard School of Arnold in February 2024, bringing more than six years of experience working with young children. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has completed internships in multiple schools, supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition, she has worked in after-school programs serving children of all ages. Her greatest joy as a teacher is witnessing children’s growth and development as they approach learning with curiosity and enthusiasm. Outside the classroom, Ms. Keiya enjoys bowling, watching movies, and traveling to the Bahamas to spend time with her family.

Mrs. Lauren joined The Goddard School of Arnold in May 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and brings over 14 years of experience working with young children. Dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment, she is passionate about supporting each child’s growth and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, playing board games, and exploring the outdoors.

Ms. Angela joined the Goddard Arnold team in August 2022. She is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and brings a strong foundation in child development, having completed related coursework during high school. Passionate about fostering curiosity and growth, Ms. Angela values the opportunity to support children as they discover and understand the world around them. Her role at Goddard allows her to apply her knowledge while preparing for a future career in public education. Outside the classroom, she enjoys playing volleyball, walking her two dogs, and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Jordyn began working at The Goddard School of Arnold in September 2025. She has one year of experience in early childhood education and is currently working toward her 90-hour Infant & Toddler certification as well as her 90-hour Preschool certification. She loves watching children grow, be creative, and discover the world around them. Being part of this special stage in their lives is deeply meaningful to her, and she enjoys bringing magic into playtime and finding fun, engaging ways to learn. Inspired by her own wonderful childhood, she finds joy in helping create those same moments for the children in her care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, yoga, and making blankets. She hopes to begin scuba diving soon and plans to start volunteering with horses in the future.

Ms. Sierra joined The Goddard School of Arnold in August 2024 with more than four years of experience in early childhood education. She has her 90 hour Preschool certification. She is passionate about fostering children’s growth and development, and her favorite part of teaching is witnessing their creativity and imagination come to life. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Sierra enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Ms. Katelynn joined The Goddard School of Arnold in June 2024. She has completed her 90-hour certification in early childhood education and brings 2.5 years of experience working with young children. Ms. Katelynn enjoys the ever-changing nature of each day in the classroom and finds joy in building strong bonds with every child in her care. She loves seeing their personalities shine and finds it rewarding to be part of their growth and development. Her warm, engaging approach creates a supportive environment where children feel encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive. In her free time, Ms. Katelynn enjoys painting, crafting, reading, and playing board games with her friends and family.

Ms. Gabriela joined The Goddard School of Arnold in December 2023. She has her 90 hour Preschool certification and several years of hands-on experience in early childhood education. Passionate about fostering growth, she enjoys supporting children as they learn, explore, and develop their unique personalities. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Gabriela pursues her interest in esthetics.

Ms. Maria joined our school community in October 2024, bringing with her over 16 years of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Maria holds her 90 hour certification in both Infant/Toddler and Preschool education. She is passionate about supporting young learners and finds the greatest joy in witnessing their growth and those moments when new concepts truly “click.” Outside of the classroom, Ms. Maria enjoys journaling, coloring, making music, and attending concerts with friends.

Ms. Carlina began working at The Goddard School of Arnold in August 2025. She holds an Associate’s Degree as well as her 90-hour Preschool certification. With one year of experience in early childhood education, she loves being part of children’s growth and development. Her favorite moments are watching them recognize shapes, sing their ABCs, make friends, and learn to write their names—milestones that make teaching so rewarding. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, which is very important to her. Ms. Carlina is excited to be part of the Goddard community and looks forward to supporting every child’s journey.
