Onsite Owner/Executive Director, 30 years of experienceWith over 25 years of experience in educational leadership, Amy brings knowledge and passion to our school. She joined the Goddard brand in 2006 as a Director, before opening this school in 2013. Amy holds a degree in Elementary Education from Rowan University and is an NJ State Certified Teacher, showing her commitment to education . As a mother of six children, ranging from eight years old to young adults, Amy understands firsthand the importance of creating a nurturing, supportive environment for all families. When you walk through our doors, you’ll see that Amy is not just the owner, but a passionate leader deeply invested in the success and well-being of each child. Outside of the classroom, Amy is an avid traveler who loves cruising and visiting Disney World. She’s also an accomplished runner, having completed several half marathons and five marathons, including the iconic NYC marathon. Amy’s determination and zest for life inspire both the children and staff she works with. -

Director of School Operations, 21 years of experience & 2021 Teacher Of The YearMs. Renee has been an integral part of our team since 2019. Her journey with us began as an Assistant Teacher, where her passion and dedication quickly earned her a promotion to Lead Preschool Teacher. Over the years, Ms. Renee has further demonstrated her versatility by taking on a variety of roles, including Kindergarten Teacher and Lead Pre-K Teacher. In 2022, she transitioned into her current role. Ms. Renee holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from William Paterson University. As a mother to one son, Ms. Renee understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow and thrive. She is CPR/First Aid certified, trained in Medication Administration, & Allergy Readiness, ensuring that your child’s safety and well-being are a top priority. With her wealth of experience, dedication to education, and deep understanding of the needs of both children and families, she is committed to creating a positive, welcoming environment. -

Director Of Curriculum, 17 years of experience & South Carolina's Teacher of The Year in 2018.Ms. Nina brings over 16 years of passion and expertise in Early Childhood Education to our team. She joined us in 2022 as our Director of Curriculum, and has quickly become a key leader in shaping the educational experiences we offer. With a wealth of experience that spans multiple roles—from Assistant Director to Lead Teacher, her knowledge of child development, combined with her dedication to creating nurturing learning environments, ensures that every child’s individual needs are met. Ms. Nina’s approach is rooted in her Early Childhood Development Credential, and she is committed to using her expertise to foster growth and learning in all of our students. Ms. Nina builds strong, supportive partnerships with families, and she believes in creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. She holds a Child Development Associate Credential from Ashworth College and has also completed coursework in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix. Her extensive background and dedication to nurturing young minds make Ms. Lauren an invaluable asset to our school. Lead Pre K I Teacher & Assistant Director, 8 Years of Experience & 2019 Teacher of The Year!Mr. Brandon is a valued member of our leadership team, serving as Lead Pre-K Teacher & Assistant Director. His dual role allows him to have a positive impact on both the children in his classroom & the overall operations of our school. Since joining us in 2018, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to education. He started as an Assistant Teacher before being promoted to Lead Pre-K Teacher. His dedication and leadership abilities later earned him the role of Assistant Director, all while continuing to foster an enriching environment in his classroom. Mr. Brandon holds a Child Development Associate Credential & is CPR and First Aid certified. He's trained in Diversity, as well as Child Care Management, ensuring he’s equipped to provide a well-rounded experience for every child. With 8 younger siblings of his own, caring for children is second nature to him. His combination of experience, credentials, & personal commitment makes him an exceptional teacher & leader. -

Lead Preschool II Teacher, 7 years of experience & 2022 Teacher of The YearMs. Neli joined our team in 2019, bringing experience with the New York Department of Education as a Group Leader and Activity Specialist. She has also served as Assistant Pre-Kindergarten I Teacher and Virtual Learning Teacher during the 2020-2021 school year. In 2021, she became our Lead Preschool II Teacher. She is CPR and First Aid certified by the Red Cross and holds certifications in Foundations in Health and Safety through the Early Childhood Education and Training Program and NYS Office of Children and Family Services. Outside of school, Ms. Neli enjoys spending time with her cat and dog. Her passion for early childhood education, combined with her experience and certifications, allows her to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive. Ms. Neli is dedicated to fostering each child's growth and success, both academically and socially. -

Lead Get Set Teacher, 7 years of experience, 2023 Teacher of The YearMs. Kaylee is our Lead Get-Set Teacher and has been with our school since 2019. With 4 years of previous experience working with children ages 2-4, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong passion for early childhood education. In addition to her teaching background, Kaylee has worked at All Care Rehabilitation, gaining valuable experience in working with diverse groups of children. Ms. Kaylee graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Family Studies, further expanding her expertise in child development and family dynamics. Known for her positive energy and creativity, Ms. Kaylee fosters a joyful and engaging classroom environment. Her ability to connect with each child helps them feel supported and encouraged, setting the stage for lifelong learning and success. -

Assistant Infant Teacher, 38 years of experience & 2015 Teacher Of The YearMs. Sandra has been a cherished member of our team, originally joining our school in 2014 and rejoining in 2022. With a passion for early childhood education, she has worked with children since 1985, specializing in infant and toddler care. Ms. Sandra holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and brings with her years of experience as a teacher assistant. Her extensive background allows her to create a nurturing, responsive, and stimulating environment for infants, where they feel safe and loved. Ms. Sandra’s warm, caring approach supports each child’s development and fosters strong, trusting relationships with both infants and their families. Lead Toddler I Teacher, 10 years of experience, 2024 Teacher Of The YearMs. Grecia joined our team with six years of previous experience working with children. Her dedication and hard work earned her the title of Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024, based on parent nominations! Before joining us, she worked as a Youth Development Specialist/Front Desk Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club, where she supported children and families in various capacities. In addition, she was a caregiver for a family, which helped her develop valuable skills in nurturing and supporting children. Ms. Grecia is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Child Advocacy and Policy at Montclair State University, further expanding her knowledge and commitment to child development. She has also completed training in Allergen Safety, ensuring she provides a safe and inclusive environment for every child. Lead Infant Teacher, 19 years of experienceMs. Shaniqua is our Lead Infant Teacher, and she has been an invaluable member of our team since 2016. As a loving mother of two boys, Ms. Shaniqua understands the importance of providing a nurturing and safe environment for infants. She attended Passaic County Technical Institute, where she majored in Early Childhood Development. Prior to joining our school, Ms. Shaniqua gained valuable experience providing in-home care to children under the age of 5, allowing her to develop a deep understanding of infant care. For the past 6 years, she has been dedicated to our littlest learners, ensuring they feel loved, secure, and stimulated. Ms. Shaniqua is CPR and First Aid certified, as well as Safe Sleep trained, providing families with peace of mind knowing their infants are in caring, capable hands. Lead First Step Teacher, 13 years of experienceMs. Glory, as she is affectionately known, originally joined our team in 2016 and returned in 2021. She graduated from Passaic County Community College in 2015 with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management in 2022. Additionally, Ms. Glory holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. With over 12 years of experience working with children, Ms. Glory is deeply passionate about early childhood development. As our Lead First Steps Teacher, she fosters a nurturing, engaging environment for our youngest learners. Beyond her role in the classroom, Ms. Glory plays a vital part in training and mentoring new faculty members, sharing her knowledge and experience to help ensure the success of our team. She served as a Preschool Teacher Assistant for three years in the Center for Family Resources Head Start program and has also volunteered as a mentor for children with special needs. In recognition of her skills and dedication, Ms. Misty achieved the SkillsUSA Early Childhood Education State Gold Medal in 2020. Currently, she is working towards completing her CDA Credential while attending college, and during her breaks, she enthusiastically assists with all age groups during the summer and winter sessions. She was employed by a corporate child care center for 15 years prior to 2013, where she attended many workshops on early childhood education. She also is trained in Safe Sleep for Infants. You can find Marie's friendly face assisting in our Infant and First Steps classrooms each morning! -

She brings valuable experience working with children, including babysitting and supporting activities in a large center environment. She is a West Essex High School senior and is actively participating in the work-study program, seamlessly combining her education with practical experience.
