Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Lindsay and her husband Mr. Jon are the on-site owners of The Goddard School of LV North. Their passion is to provide the highest quality preschool in NW LV. Ms. Lindsay has a Master's degree in SW (child-focused), graduating with a cumulative 4.0 GPA and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Ms. Lindsay has a multitude of experience working with children and their families; providing intensive individualized family therapy and educating kiddos in a psychiatric hospital setting. Lindsay is also a mom of three, and her daughter just graduated from the Goddard School!

Mr. Jon brings much expertise to the day to day operations of The Goddard School of Las Vegas (North), as he comes from a successful 17 year career managing employees, retaining customers, and growing markets. He is invested in making sure families and teachers have the BEST experiences. Mr. Jon is a very involved father of 3 who loves spending time with family and has a great understanding of childhood development. Alongside Ms. Lindsay, he is committed to offering the Northwest Las Vegas community a safe, positive experience.

Kim is originally from Southern California where she owned and operated her own licensed childcare facility for 13 years. She then relocated to Sparks, NV, where she was fortunate enough to encounter a Goddard School and became a lead Pre-K teacher. The amazing first-hand experience she had of the Goddard brand is why she is still with Goddard today. Working with little people has always been her passion. Knowing that she plays a part in the education of the young minds of the future has always given her a sense of hope and purpose, and watching them grow and flourish has always given her a sense of pride. Kim holds a CDA credential and is continuing with her Bachelor's as an Early Childhood Education major. Kim is a mom to four wonderful children who all make her very proud, 1 fur baby who is the love of her life, and has been married to her best friend for 18 years. She feels extremely blessed to continue to work in the ECE community, and looks forward to working with your family!

My name is Ms. Arlena, and I'm so excited to be apart of your child's early childhood education journey. I have been in the early education field for almost 8 years and it's truly my passion. I began my career as a floater and quickly advanced to a Toddler Teacher. From there, I moved into Preschool and Pre-K where I had the opportunity to train and mentor new teachers. As I gained more experience, I began training under my former Directors as an Office Assistant, expanding my skills in admin and leadership. After getting married, I took a meaningful two year break to focus on my family and son. When Goddard opened here in NW LV, it was the perfect next step. My son is now a student here and is thriving. He loves coming to school every day. I have joined the team as the Floor Manager, and I truly enjoy working alongside our amazing teachers, students, and leadership team. I look forward to helping create a positive, nurturing experience for your family here at Goddard!

Ms. KK has many years experience working with children as a Preschool Teacher. She is always upbeat and has a fun demeanour that her students love. Ms. Kaitlyn's teaching philosophy: " I am all about learning....but I'm also about having fun while doing it! I love to make learning fun and laugh with my students! It's like having 20 little best friends! " In her spare time, she loves baking, painting, reading, shopping, playing with her lizard, and spending time with her family and fiancé. Ms. KK has been with the Goddard Family since our school's opening! She was our May Teacher of the Month!

Ms. Chavez has almost 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education as a Pre-School Teacher. She spent 3 years learning about Early Childhood Education, earning her a CTE Career and Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Her fun and creative approach to teaching makes the classroom's learning atmosphere fun and exciting. Ms. Chavez's students come to school eager and excited! In Ms. Chavez's spare time, she loves reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Chavez has also been a Pre-School Teacher with the Goddard Family since the school opened its doors! Ms. Chavez was our May 2025 Teacher of the Month!

Ms. Phyleshia is our lead Pre-K 1 Teacher and has been with us since we opened! She has 13 years of experience working with children. She LOVES helping her students learn and connecting with families. She is currently attending school for her Bachelor's Degree. Ms. Phyleshia's teaching philosophy: "I believe children can learn in a fun way; through structure and creativity. " Ms. Phyleshia enjoys taking vacations and being an Auntie!

Ms. Marica is our lead Pre-K 2 teacher! As she prepares her students for the essential skills necessary for Kinder, she loves watching them learn new skills and seeing how proud of themselves they are. Ms. Marica has over 10 years of experience as a Pre-K/Kinder Teacher, college education credits in Early Childhood Ed, and 3 children of her own. Her teaching philosophy: "I prioritize each student's individual needs, creating a happy, loving, and safe environment where they can explore and learn at their own pace." She loves spending time with her family, camping, fishing and going to Disneyland. She is also a dance Mom!

Families and staff LOVE Ms. Mariah's energy. She always has the most positive attitude and upmost care for the kiddos. Ms. Mariah started with us as a floater and was promoted to an assistant teacher in Pre-K 2!

Ms. Bradley has 6 years of experience as a Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, her Child Development Associate and an Associate's degree in Physiology w/ an ECE minor. She loves to create an environment with much laughter and joy. In her classroom, all children can thrive, feel secure, cherished and express themselves. She knows that effective learning involves a collaborative effort between teachers, students and parents; built on mutual respect. Ms. Bradley loves wellness and fitness!

Ms. Jaila has many years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. She holds a Child Development Associate Credential. She loves knowing that she makes a positive daily impact on the lives of the children who will shape the future. She truly loves being apart of her student's everyday lives and witnessing how they navigate through this world with each of their unique personalities. In her spare time, she loves to use creative outlets such as writing, photography, and art of all kinds. Traveling and experiencing new places is a passion of hers, and a trip to Barnes and Noble is her idea of a perfect day. Ms. Jaila's teaching philosophy: I believe in honoring each child's unique pace of development and nurturing their individuality in a supportive and encouraging classroom environment.
