    We are Kyle & Ruth Arbaugh, the proud owners of The Goddard School of Reynoldsburg and The Goddard School of Lewis Center. We have two young children who both attend Goddard and have dedicated our lives to the education and care of young children. As owners we bring a unique education and business background to our Schools. Ruth was the Dean of a private elementary school and elementary school teacher for over a decade before we joined the Goddard family. She has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University as well as additional certification from Harvard University and Yale University. Kyle grew up in Northeast Ohio and spent 15 years as a technology entrepreneur. Prior to our Goddard School ownership his most recent venture was a financial education platform for young adults. He attended Ohio Northern University and has a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Marketing. Our passion is to build a program that helps develop young minds and create a welcoming community for all our parents, students and teachers.

    Executive Director
    Crystal is the Executive Director of The Goddard School of Reynoldsburg. She has been a part of the Goddard family since 2010 when she began working at The Goddard School of Lewis Center, first as a Preschool teacher and for six years as a Director. She is the mother of two wonderful daughters who attended The Goddard School. At Lewis Center she led curriculum development, quality assurance, faculty training and much more. She has a degree in early childhood education from Columbus State and a number of advanced certifications in social emotional learning, classroom management and education administration.

    My name is Madalyn Evans and I am so happy to have joined the Goddard team! I have close to 7 years of experience working in a childcare setting, and I absolutely love what I do! I always knew I wanted to enter the education field after high school, but once I started working at my first childcare job at 18, I absolutely fell in love with working with children, and watching them develop and grow. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Kentucky University in 2015 and relocated to the Columbus area in early 2021! In my spare time, I love to go thrifting, spending time with my friends and family, and hanging out with my cat Salem, who is my best buddy! I’m also a major bookworm, I love reading new books and finding new bookstores! My favorite children’s books growing up were The Rainbow Fish, and any of the Junie B Jones books. My mom used to take me to the library to check out new books every Friday after school!

    Miss Lisa comes to The Goddard School with over 10 years of experience working with Pre-K children and a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from Baldwin Wallace College (Univ.) She loves making a difference in each child’s life. She enjoys seeing the children learn and grow and the smile on their face when they learn something new. In her free time she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, cleaning and spending time with family. Overall Miss Lisa loves working with children, challenging them and helping them get prepared for their next adventure in Kindergarten!

    Infant Teacher
    Miss Shay is joining us with over 15 years of childcare experience. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and loves crafting engaging activities for her class. Shay loves helping children learn how to interact with the people around them through prompts and gentle guidance. When she has downtime, you can find Shay exploring Hyrule on horseback (Zelda) or at the local card shop playing Dungeons and Dragons with her best friends. Shay’s favorite children’s book is “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch and her favorite children’s singers are Raffi and Charlotte Diamond. She has a son in elementary school and they often play Pokémon and other Nintendo games together.

    Miss Megan brings her Associates of Arts in Culinary and CDA certification to the Goddard School, along with over fourteen years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about watching children grow, as they explore new experiences, create lasting memories, and reach important milestones. In her free time, Miss Megan enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three kids, as well as reading a good book. Her favorite is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss, as it teaches the valuable lesson of embracing new experiences.

    Miss Rachel comes to the Goddard School with 3.5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She graduated from University of Kentucky with her Bachelors of Science in Family Sciences, Community Leadership Development. She has spoken and taught at college and post graduate level before making the change to early childhood. Having research presented and published for her University, Rachel found that young children were her special interest. Her favorite part of being in the classroom is watching the children’s firsts and seeing them gain a personality of their own. She loves music, singing, baking and gardening. Her favorite book is Thundercake by Patricia Pollaco and the color pink.

    Miss Sierra comes to the Goddard School with over two years of experience in childcare. She loves working with children and watching them learn and share ideas. One of her favorite children’s books is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss because of all the wonderful activities you can connect to the book. Outside of school she loves spending time with her family (including her mom who is our new Young Toddler teacher!), two cats named Boo and Kitty, two lizards named Gizmo and Mushu, and her two hermit crabs named Kraken and Jaws!

    Miss Abby comes to the Goddard school as a passionate, CDA certified teacher with 4 years of experience in early childhood education. She strives to provide a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment to every child she meets. Her favorite part of being a teacher is seeing the expression on a child's face when they learn something new. Her favorite children's book is “My Shadow is Purple” by Scott Stuart because inclusivity in children's media is important. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, having a game night with friends, or snuggling her cat, Lorelai!

    Miss Holly comes to the Goddard School with over ten years of experience in childcare. It means the world to her to be part of the foundation in a child’s growth, development and education. She has experience working with all age groups, toddlers being her absolute favorite! Outside of school she loves spending time with her three children, coaching her youngest daughter's softball team, and watching OSU football. Her favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein because of the message of altruism it inspires.

    Miss Ashley comes to the Goddard School with over ten years experience in the Early Childhood field. She graduated from The Ohio State University at Newark back in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early/Middle Childhood Studies. She has loved working with children since she was in high school when she volunteered at a preschool and has experience with every age group from newborns up to 14 years old. Her favorite part of working with children has always been seeing the “AHA!” moments with them. The minute where they finally understand or develop a new skill has always been the most rewarding thing since starting in the Early Childhood field. Miss Ashley’s hobbies include going for walks in her neighborhood, spending time with her family and recently picked up reading books and short stories again. Her favorite children’s book is Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax because her mom and dad would read it to her as a bedtime story when she was little.

    Miss Tessa is our lead Preschool I teacher and joins us with over 14 years of experience leading Preschool & Toddler classrooms and has a Child Development Degree from Columbus State. She brings a fun, joyful energy to her classroom every day. As students transition to her classroom she has the invaluable skill of helping make them feel at home from day one. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and be creative through various forms of crafting. Miss Tessa's favorite children's book is "Where's My Mummy" by Carolyn Crimi for the concepts it teaches and the ability to make literacy fun and engaging for the reader.

    Preschool Teacher
    Miss Kaila comes to the Goddard School with over 10 years of experience and is currently working to complete her CDA. She has experience working with children of all ages with a variety of backgrounds but she loves working with the toddler ages. She brings a love of learning and watching children grow and discover the world around them. Her favorite part about being in the classroom is engaging children in different activities and seeing how each child learns and sees the world in their own way. Outside of school, Miss Kaila is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her son Hudson and with her beloved dog. She is passionate about her family and music, always seeking opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge in these areas. Miss Kaila loves all of the books with Pete the Cat and the learning that goes along with each book makes it special for each child.

    Miss Allie comes to the Goddard School with over four years of experience working with children in the Early Childhood setting. She has experience with all ages but has a special place in her heart for preschool. She is currently working on her CDA. She loves to watch children grow and learn through their time in her classroom. Miss Allie loves reading and being in nature. She also loves animals and has 2 dogs and 2 cats. At home she lives with her pets, her husband Caine and her 7 month old son Leo! Miss Allie’s favorite children’s book is “I love you stinky face” by Lisa McCourt because it was a book her mom read to her every night and now she reads it to her son every night.
  • Miss Nahid

    Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
    Miss Nahid comes to the Goddard School with over 9 years of experience working in early childhood. She completed her CDA certification in 2017 and since then worked as Pre-K lead teacher at a 5-star childcare center. She finished her primary/middle/high school along with undergraduate studies in Bangladesh, a small country located in south Asia. She loves working with children and a helping hand in their learning experience/process. She loves to travel and enjoys the experience of different cuisines, also a huge fan of Jeni’s ice creams and her favorite color is purple. Miss Nahid’s beloved children’s book is “Llama Llama Red Pajama” by Anna Dewdney.

    Miss Shayla comes to the Goddard School with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working towards her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been in a childcare setting for about seven years ranging from infant to school age. She love's working with children because they are so curious about the environment around them and they want to know more about it. She enjoys watching the gears turn in their head when they are working towards a concept. In her free time she enjoys being with my family, shopping, swimming, and watching movies. She has a seven year old son in The Goddard summer camp program and they have a one year old hound dog at home named Stella! She is so excited to be working with your children!
