Hello! My name is Jen Owens and I am super excited to be the director here at The Goddard School in Hudson. I graduated from the University of Akron with my BA in Child Development and have over 25 years of experience working with young children. Facilitating children to reach their maximum potential in growth and development has always been my deepest passion in life. I feel extremely honored to be part of a school that holds such high standards in early childhood education and values what is needed to provide your child with the best care available.

Ms. Courtney has her Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Psychology. She has been with Goddard since 2023. Ms. Erica has her Child Development Associate Certificate and helps with school opening responsibilities. She started at Goddard in 2011 and worked at another Goddard School previously. Ms. Erica has over 10 years of experience working with Infants and Toddlers - Favorite Activity: Bubbles and watching the babies explore with paint - Favorite Thing About the Infant Room: Getting to see the new things that they learn and seeing their excitement when they master something new!

HI! My name is Miss Kathy and I have been with Goddard since December 2022. I have a Bachelor's degree in English/ Women's studies and a Master's degree in education. I have been working with infants to high school age in many different capacities for more than 30 years. I have been married to a teacher for 32 years. We have a daughter Kyla, who has already traveled the world at 29 and fluently speaks French, Spanish, and Wolof. Our son Ethan is entering his senior year in the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago studying Sound Design. It gives me great joy to be a special part of a child's daily life. Each day is filled with promise and wonder and renews my spirit.

My name is Emily Hartz. I received my associate degree in child development from Rasmussen College. I have been working with children for most of my adult life. My favorite thing about working with children is watching them learn and grow. It is especially exciting when they hit those milestones. I have a teenage daughter and a teenage son. In my spare time I love spending time with my kids camping and exploring the metro parks.

My name is Danielle, I prefer to go by Ellie though. I have been married for 3 years and we have a 2.5 year old. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field since I was a junior in High school when I attended the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. Ever since I graduated in 2017, I have been working with young children ages, 6weeks-12 years old, in different centers. I am currently enrolled online at Eastern Gateway Community College for Teacher Education and I have about 9 classes until I receive my Associates degree. Once I do that, I will go on to receive my Bachelor's degree. In my downtime I enjoy spending time with my family and singing.

My name is Emma. Im 24 years old and one of 6 children! I have an associate degree in education. I have 3 years of experience in daycare. I also have experience subbing in school districts for two years. Some hobbies that I love to do are relaxing walks, watching movies, and spending time with family, friends and my kitten Niko!

My name is Faith Harrison I have a bachelors in Creative Writing from Hiram college and a Masters in Creative Writing from Edinburgh Napier University. I chose to work in childcare because I love watching how children view the world around them and helping them understand it.

Hello! My name is Darcie! I am a mom of two boys! I was a stay at home mom for 4 years. In my spare time, I love to cook & bake. I have a small business for baked goods for friends & family! I love getting coffee & shopping, going on walks, taking the boys to the zoo or indoor play places,& once a month, going to the local library. I started The Goddard Schools Feb 2024. I have a 1.5 year certification in cosmetology, 1.5 year experience in Healthcare & plan to go back to school! My favorite thing to do with children are gym/ outdoor play, Bubbles, arts & crafts & reading!

Ms. Mercedes started at The Goddard School in March 2023. Ms. Jordan went to school for Hospitality, however she found a love for education and started at Goddard in 2022. She started as an Assistant and moved into the Lead Teacher position in the Preschool Room. Hello! My name is Ashley Canterbury. I am 27 years old, and teaching children is my passion! I graduated from Walsh University in 2019 with my Bachelor of Science in Education. I am originally from Marietta, Ohio, where I taught preschool for 3 years. This most previous school year I took off to be with my son, who was born in July of 2022. I now reside in Stow with my fiancé, Blake and our son, Dax. I am excited to be back in the classroom doing what I love! Along with my love of teaching, my other interests include spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and baking.

Hello! My name is Ashleigh, I have been working in childcare since 2019, and I’m currently working on my Child Development Associate (CDA). My favorite part about working with kids is getting to witness them develop all the skills they will need and also to watch their personalities grow! In my free time I like to go hiking with my dogs, and take pictures of nature while I’m hiking. I also like getting coffee with friends, Halloween, and going to farmers markets.

Ms. Taylor has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She started at Goddard in 2021. Ms. Taylor has over 5 years of experience working with Preschoolers and Prekindergartners. -Favorite Activity: Dancing! -Favorite Part of Being a Teacher: Seeing the children make a connection with learning and seeing their faces light up!

Hello Everyone! I’m Miss Brittany and I will be one of your pre-k teachers. I have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked in childcare for the past 8 years. My prior roles were a School-Age Teacher, Preschool Teacher and Children’s Recreational Activities Coordinator at Disney World. I’ve been able to work with all ages of children which has been a blessing. Outside of work, I am a part of the Worship Team at Rust City Church in Niles as one of the lead singers. I love to listen to music in my free time. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite memories with my family are made at our bi-monthly family dinners, where we celebrate birthdays and other holidays. While working with the children, I love to play outside. Also, inside the classroom with blocks and coloring.

Hello! My name is Austin but everyone at school calls me by my last name Isaac. I am currently a senior at Kent state University pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I did a semester of student teaching at Goddard school and began working here as a resource teacher directly after. In my free time I love spending time with my wife Kaelynn. We like to watch Cleveland sports, go out to eat, and have game nights with our friends.

Ms. Liv is currently in school for Communications and started at Goddard in 2021. Hello! My name is Payton and I am a Resource Teacher here at The Goddard School in Hudson. I am currently studying to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Kent State University. Working with children is something that I have always adored doing. Education is such a rewarding field of work with the multitude of personalities you get to work with everyday, the connections you get to make, the impact you could possibly have on a child’s life, and more. 

My name is Toriana (Torrie) Harris. I am an assistant teacher in the Preschool and Pre-K class. I have been working in childcare for almost 2 years now and loving every minute of it! My goal with every opportunity is to educate and create meaningful and lasting bonds with each friend I meet. I have two very awesome brothers, a sweet and cuddly ball of fur named Kyla, and last but not least... my son, Elijah who is my whole world!

Hi! My name is Rylee and I have been working in childcare since I was 16 years old and absolutely fell in love with the field. I have worked with all age groups, including infants through school aged and I love watching children develop and grow. I am currently at Kent State University working to earn my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I chose this field because I want to be apart of the youth's education journey. Teachers have had a true impact on so many students over the years and I would love to be that for the future generation.

My name is Cierra and i’m currently a resource teacher at The Goddard School! I have previous experience working in this setting, as I came from another Goddard location. I am working towards my bachelors degree in Speech Pathology at Kent State University and plan on furthering my education through grad school. I’m on the Kent Sate Cheerleading team, so in my little free time I enjoy reading, coloring, or going on runs! I’ve always wanted to work with kids, finding it to be so rewarding!

Hi! My name is Nicole. I graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's in early childhood education. I love helping children use their creativity, learn, and grow. My favorite things to do are sing, read, swim, and craft.

Hello! My name is Kennedy Moyer and I am a resource teacher/floater. I am from Buffalo, New York and came to the area for school. I am a Junior at Kent State University studying Political Science and Business. After I graduate I am planning on going to law school. In my free time, I am a cheerleader for the school. I have been in cheerleading my entire life! I look forward to getting to know everyone and to help provide growth and comfort to the children!
