Katie
DirectorHello! My name is Katie, and I am thrilled to be a part of the wonderful community at Goddard. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, as I have been involved in childcare for most of my life. As the oldest of five siblings, I developed a deep understanding of child development from an early age. I was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado, and now have the joy of raising two beautiful daughters with my wonderful fiancé. I pursued my education in Early Childhood Special Education, which has further strengthened my dedication to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. In my free time, I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, and camping. Thank you for entrusting me with your children. I am excited for this opportunity and look forward to a fantastic experience at Goddard! -
Maggie
DirectorHi, I'm Maggie and I couldn't be more excited to join The Goddard school in the director role! Originally from Missouri, that is where my early childhood education career began. I started as an assistant teacher in a preschool located in Columbia, Missouri. Over my three years there, I grew into a lead teacher role of a 4 year old class. I moved to the Portland area in 2007 and started my career in early childhood education in Oregon. I've taken classes and earned my CDA in Infant/Toddler and Preschool. I'm passionate about early childhood education and constantly learning new and best practices. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son. We love to swim, go to arcades, trips to the coast, and watch movies together. I have a love for all kinds of music.... although rusty, can play a bit of banjo! I have a passion for animals and being outdoors as much as possible! I'm excited to meet, get to know you, and begin this journey together! -
