Our Teachers

Welcome to our School. My husband Monty and I are the owners of The Goddard Schools located in Bethlehem, Macungie and Center Valley. We live in the Lehigh Valley and have 3 daughters, all of who are all Goddard graduates! Our Goddard journey started in 2004 as Goddard parents. We opened the Goddard School at Macungie in 2015 in partnership with Ms. Jill, to bring the exact same exceptional standards in little children's education that I had wanted for my children. Monty has an MBA from Ballarat University, Australia. I have an MD and retired from medicine in 2016, to continue full time with my passion in Early Childhood Education. I am thrilled to be at The Goddard School – Macungie, a wonderful childcare center located in Breinigsville, where I have been working for over nine years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Millersville University. Before joining the Goddard School Bethlehem in 2009 as a preschool and kindergarten teacher, I owned and managed a veterinary hospital for ten years. I am a proud mother of two grown-up kids and a 3-year-old Cavalier. As a childcare provider, I am passionate about children and feel privileged to watch them learn and grow. I strongly believe that providing a nurturing environment that supports the whole child is crucial in creating lifelong learners. Thank you for entrusting me with your child's development. I am excited to be a part of your child's journey! I appreciate the opportunity to share in your child’s growth.

Carol has been working with children of all ages for the past 40 years. She received her associate's degree in early childhood education from Northampton Community College and her bachelor's degree in psychology/elementary education from Moravian University. In addition to her work with children through various school systems, she cherishes the time she had spent in the field of high school youth ministry and homeschooling her 10 children. Ms. Carol is passionate about healthy practices for both young children and adults.

Miss Angelica is our Systems Administrator for the Goddard Schools at Bethlehem, Macungie and Center Valley. In this position she supports the management and staff at the school achieve best systems and practices in place. Angelica has over 5 years of experience working in early childhood education. She graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business. She loves working in childcare, because it is “so rewarding to see how little minds grow over time.” In her free time, she likes to paint and spend time with her cat. A fun fact is that Ms. Angelica has been a Goddard child, a Teacher, an Assistant Director and now Administrator! She cannot wait to get to know you and your little one(s).

Miss Jamie currently lives in the area but is originally from New Jersey where she graduated from a local community college with her Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development. From there she went on to Kean University to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her teaching experience focuses on early childhood education as well as teaching children with special needs. She has over 17 years of experience teaching children ages six months to twelve years. Jamie loves teaching younger children because they have open minds and love exploring and learning new things every day. When Miss Jamie is not at school she's at home spending time with her two children! She looks forward to getting to know each student and supporting them in their learning journey. She loves being a part of The Goddard School family. Jamie looks forward to hearing from each of you and learning about your child.

Michael has been working closely with children since 2008, something that has been a passion of his throughout his life. He graduated from a local community college with an Associate of Science Degree in Secondary Education. Having been heavily involved in Aquatics programming for all ages across the country, he recognizes the importance of both safety and fun in all its facets when it comes to working with children. He looks forward to working with your child's teachers to help provide the best learning environment possible.

Miss Liz has been working with children for about 2 years now! She has earned her bachelors degree in early childhood through Kutztown University. Miss Liz's favorite children's book is all of them! She could never pick a favorite book she loves them all! Miss Liz loves working with children because they are always coming up with fun new ideas! They love to explore which leads to learning. In Miss Liz's free time she loves to craft and make things for school as well as add to her large book collection!

Miss Selina has worked with children for five years before taking a three year break to stay home with her daughter! Her favorite children's book is "Oh The Thinks You Can Think" by Dr. Suess. Outside of school Miss Selina loves crocheting and spending time with her family! Miss Selina loves working with littles because they often teach her just as much as she teaches them!

Mr. Mason has been working in early child care for over 8 years. He is very happy to be working here at the Goddard School, and he is currently taking criminal justice courses at Kutztown University.

Miss Karen is CDA certified and has been in the early childhood field for more than 12 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with all age groups from 1 year old to Kindergarten. She enjoys getting to know the children and playing with them as well as teaching. She believes children learn through play and with a little strategic planning that makes my job so enjoyable. She has two boys who are all grown up and out on their own. When she is not teaching, Karen enjoys writing short stories, drawing, and swimming. Karen loves the outdoors, the four seasons, and nature. Her favorite children's book is “Are You My Mother?” by P.D. Eastman. She enjoys taking on the characters of a story when she read it.

Miss Caitlynn has been working with children for 4+ years now! Her favorite children's book is "Oh, The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. Miss Caitlynn's favorite things to do outside of school is hiking, camping, yoga, fishing and reading! Miss Caitlynn loves to teach her little ones because she knows she is making a difference in their lives and it allows her to step out of her comfort zone! Teaching gives Miss Caitlynn an opportunity to be creative!

Miss Melissa joined Goddard in February of 2024, but she has been working with children for over 5 years now! Her favorite children's book is "Peter and Wendy" by J.M Barrie. Miss Melissa loves to go roller-skating, she also loves photography and digital illustration! Miss Melissa loves teaching littles because of how naturally curious they are about the world! She loves that each child has their own unique way of thinking! They inspire her to always stay creative and curious no matter what age she is!

Miss Krystina has worked with children for about 9 years now! Her favorite children's books are Dr. Seuss! Miss Krystina's favorite things to do outside of school are to bake cakes, plan parties and further her knowledge in early education! Miss Krystina loves teaching because she is there while they grow, learn, experience different activities and develop their skill sets! She loves to see what they can achieve! Miss Krystina knows that all of their core learning comes from their early childhood learning experiences and it is her passion to be apart of it!

Miss Karissa has been working with children for 4 years now! She loves working with children because they are inspiring, they are always learning new things while teaching her a few things along the way! Outside of work Miss Karissa spends the rest of her day relaxing at home! Once a week she attends dance practice for a completive dance team! Her favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Suess

Miss Bonnie has over 15 years of experience working with kids as a nanny. She has worked with infants up to 14 years old! Miss Bonnie's favorite thing about working with kids is seeing them learn new things through playing! Miss Bonnie's favorite children's book is "Miss Nelson is Missing". When Miss Bonnie isn't at school she loves to design websites using graphic design, reading and is an aquarist!

Miss Escandry has 6 years working with children of all ages. She has a Child Development Associate (CDA) that was awarded to her at Reading Area Community College (RACC). Her favorite books are A World Together, The 7 Habits of Happy Kids and Saturday. In Miss Escandry's free time she loves going to the movies, museums, parks and discovering new cuisine. She loves working with little children because they are always in a constant discovery of their abilities, she is excited to be part of their first learning, laughter, steps, words... Little children are teachers of joy, persistence and unconditional love, they are adorable .

Mr. Brandon started working in childcare in January of 2025 and has wanted to be a teacher ever since he was 6 years old. He attended Northampton Community College and graduated in December of 2023 with an Associate's Degree in Secondary Education. Mr. Brandon's favorite thing about working with children is their creativity and all the stories they are able to make up about almost anything. In his free time, he spends time with my family and likes to collect and listen to vinyl records. His favorite children’s book is "The Mouse and the Motorcycle"

Miss Cora has been working with kids since she was 15! She started as a "mother's aid" for her next-door neighbor. She has also worked one on one with kids at a skating rink helping to teach them how to skate! Miss Cora's favorite book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." Miss Cora loves working with kids because she loves to watch them grow and express their great ideas! Outside of work she likes to bake, play tennis, go to the gym and relax!

Miss Vanessa has been working with children for about 2 years now! She is currently a student at Kutztown University for Elementary Education. Miss Vanessa's favorite children's book is Pinkalicious! When Miss Vanessa is not at school she likes to hang out with her sorority sisters and play with her kitten Flynn! She loves teaching little ones because she loves to be apart of their learning and development! Miss Vanessa thinks it is so incredible to see the children grow and come into their own!

Mr. David is the youngest sibling in his family, with one older brother and one older sister. He has been working with children since 2022 and joined our Macungie family in October of 2023! Mr. David's favorite thing about working with children is talking with them and learning about their different interests! He graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with a bachelors in Social Work! He is continuing his education with a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis! We are so happy to have Mr. David with us!

Miss Lydia has been with The Goddard School for 2 full years and returned after a break. She has nannied for 2 families in the past for about 10 years but has been caring for children of all ages her whole life. She comes from a big family, being the Eldest of 7 siblings. & having a 4-year-old of her own. Miss Lydia enjoys reading and coloring in her free time and LOVES spending her time with her son. Some of her favorite children's books are any of Anna Dewdney's Llama Llama stories and Pete the Cat stories. She loves working with children because children are the future, and they can surprise her in so many ways and teach her just as much as she teaches them.

Miss Dee started working with children in 2022. She is currently looking to pursue a Masters degree in nursing! Her favorite thing about working with children is how much joy children have when learning! During Miss Dee's free time, she loves watching horror movies, baking, listening to music, and cooking. Her favorite children's books are "Llama Llama Red Pajama" "No David" " If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" And "Color Monster"

Miss Pavani started working with children in October of 2023. She has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Her favorite thing about working with children is their curiosity and the joy and laughter they bring to everyone! Miss Pavani loves to cook, do artwork, and chit-chat with her friends when she is not in school! Her favorite children's books are "Pete The Cat" and "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut"

Miss Naomi has been working with children since 2022. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lehigh Carbon Community College. She is also currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Kutztown University. Miss Naomi loves working with children because she can experience their joy every day she is with them by bringing her into their world! In her free time, Miss Naomi loves to read, sing, play the ukulele, and crafting! Her favorite children's books are "Book Theif", "Goodnight Moon", and "Angelina's Birthday"

Miss Brylee started working with children in 2017. She is aspiring to get her CDA and eventually her degree in early childhood! Miss Brylee's favorite thing about working with children is how much she loves to help them learn and grow, having fun while doing so. In her free time, Miss Brylee enjoys hanging with her family! Her favorite children's books are "Green Eggs and Ham" and "Fancy Nancy"
