Our Teachers

Miss Jen is proud to be the on-site Owner of the Goddard School in West Goshen since May 2001! She graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and really enjoys working in the early childhood field. It was always a passion of hers to care for children while maintaining the best quality of health, safety and curriculum. Today her Goddard philosophy as well as her Keystone Four-Star & NAEYC Accreditations help to ensure her students at the West Goshen Goddard are receiving the best experience! She and her husband, along with their three daughters, are living their dream of caring for children while ensuring their exceptional developmental growth!

Miss Jenn is our Executive Director. She joined the West Goshen family in 2007. She is a 2004 graduate from Saint Joseph’s University were she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary/Special Education. She then went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Special Education, with a concentration on reading. She has experience working with young children at ELF Childcare in Collingdale, PA working in the one, two and five year old classrooms. Before joining the management team at Goddard, she taught in the Acrobats classroom with 3 and 4 year olds. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrap-booking and swimming. She looks forward to meeting the wonderful families and children at the West Goshen Goddard school!

This is Brittany and she is the Education Director. She is a 2010 graduate of West Chester University where she majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Math. Brittany also completed her Director Credential certificate in August 2021 and was previously the Pre-K teacher, here at Goddard since January 2011. In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her son playing outside and going on hikes.

Miss Veronique is our Assistant Director and one of our extraordinary teachers in our pre-toddler classroom. She is a graduate from West Chester University where she majored in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. She has experience working with young children while she was a nanny for the past 17 years. In 2021-2022, Veronique obtained her CDA-infant/toddlers as well as her Director Credential from Northampton Community College. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking and taking care of her plants. This is Layanna and she is our amazing preschool teacher! She is a recent graduate from California University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Early Grades and Special Education. She has experience working with children through field experiences and working through a program at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends. Nominated in 2021 and 2022 Eastern Region Teacher of The Year.

Chloe graduated from West Chester University, where she is pursued a major in Early Grades Education and Special Education. Chloe has experience working with children during her high school years and nannying for families during her college years. In her spare time she likes to read, cook and listen to music!

Hi! My name is Gabi and I work in the Bouncing Bears classroom. I am a mama of 3 little kiddos and they are the biggest reason for my interest in Early Childhood Education. I also have experience working as an Au Pair in the US and working as a lead infant teacher in NEPA. I was born and raised in Brazil and have been living in the US for the past 8 years. I'm very happy and excited to be part of this team and look forward to getting to know all the Goddard Families!

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am a teacher in the Bouncing Bears classroom! I am a mom of 3 beautiful girls! I have my Associates degree in Baking & pastry and I love to bake in my free time. I have previous experience in Early Childhood Education working in the Military childcare for 1 year and working for the YMCA for 2 years. In my free time, I also enjoy coloring and crochet. My favorite children's song is Five Little Ducks! I look forward to meeting all the Goddard Families!

Hello! I’m Raquel. I have been working on and off with children since I began the Little Knights program at my high school. I am now in my second year of college gaining a psychology degree, which I hope to use to become a pediatric psychotherapist. In my free time I love to draw and hang out with my friends. My favorite children's book is by Tove Jansson’s, "Moomin", and my favorite children's song include the entire "My Little Pony" soundtrack.

Hello! I am Colleen! I have earned my B.A. degree in Psychology from Neuman University. I have 4 years experience working at another child care facility with infants-5 year olds. I also worked as a a camp counselor and completed my Internship at Beyond Autism Services.Through all these great experiences, I have worked with children from the ages of 6 weeks to 17 years; which allowed myself to really expand my knowledge on the needs and development of different age groups. My hobbies include working out at the gym, reading, hanging out with friends, and painting. My favorite children's books are "Goodnight Moon" and "Love You Forever".

Hi! I am Fallon! I am currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education at Delaware County Community College! I am planning to transfer to West Chester University after getting my two year degree from DCCC to obtain my B.A. in Early Grades. Hi! My name is Roopa! I have my Master's degree in Computer Applications. I have experience working at another child care center with infants, toddlers and preschool age children. I also tutored science and math for 2 years in India. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, traveling and dancing! My favorite games to play with children are The floor is Lava and Freeze Dance. I am excited about the opportunity to work at The Goddard School and contribute to the growth and development of the children!

This is Sabina and she is one of our awesome teachers in our infant classroom. She has a degree in History from her studies in Bangladesh. She has experience working with young child while she worked with in the infant room of different child care centers for the past few years. In her spare time, she loves to listen to music, spend time with her daughter, and read books. She is so excited to meet the wonderful families here at the West Goshen Goddard School.

Lauren graduated from West Chester University with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Elementary Education. Lauren has experience working with children during her senior year of high school. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, organizing, and shopping. She is looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience through her years here at West Goshen!

Miss Kim is one of our excellent teachers in our Get Set classroom and she is thrilled to be working at the West Goshen Goddard School. She graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Health and Physical Education. She lives in Brookhaven with her husband Rich and their dogs Mazie and Truman. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and walking her dogs! She looks forward to meeting all of the wonderful families at West Goshen!

Miss Laura is our fantastic floater. She is a graduate from Neumann College where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She has worked in other preschool environments working in a kindergarten class and a toddlers classroom. In her spare time she enjoys reading, swimming, dining out and shopping with her friends. She looks forward to meeting all of the families at West Goshen!

My name is Adrienne, and I am formerly from South New Jersey. I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a New Jersey Teaching Certification in 2020 from Rowan University. Shortly after, I moved to PA, and I transferred my certification. I am excited to start my career at the Goddard School. My hobbies are playing frisbee, going to the beach and I love to paint and draw!

Ashwini received her Diploma in Child Education and Applied Psychology from India. She previously taught English Virtually to students in India. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, watching comedy movies and drawing!

Miss Melissa is one of our awesome Junior Kindergarten teachers. She is a 2012 graduate of Penn State University where she majored in Elementary Education. She has experience working with children as a summer camp counselor at Arrowhead and through her student teaching and field experiences. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach and shopping. *Nominated in 2016 for the CECCC Practitioner of the Year

Bret graduated from West Chester University studying Early Grades Education. Bret has five years of previous work experience as a Camp Counselor. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending time with family & friends. Bret's favorite children's book is "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom"!

Hi, I am Ruth and I am a sophomore student at West Chester University. I am currently pursuing my M.A in Speech Pathology and to work as an Early Intervention Speech Therapist. In my spare time I love to spend time with my nieces and nephews, listen to music, and cooking with my family. I look forward to making memories with all of the kids at The Goddard School.

Aoife is our wonderful infant room aide. She is currently attending the University of Delaware where she is studying Speech Pathology. During her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, baking and spending time with family and friends!

Hi, my name is Chloe! I received my B.A in history from West Chester University. I am currently working towards my Pre-K-4 teaching certification also at West Chester University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My favorite children’s book is, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff.

Hello, My Name is Norah! I love my time here at Goddard. I am a freshman at Penn State Berks University. I am studying Occupational Therapy. I have loved babies and children since I can remember. I love music and nature and spending time with my big family! My favorite children’s book is the Giving Tree and my favorite children’s song is The Wheels on the Bus.

This is Miss Linda and she is our amazing Administrative Assistant! Linda is a graduate of West Chester University where she earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She gained experience working with children while she was an infant teacher for the past 20 years in different area child care centers. In her spare time, she loves to collect antiques, landscape and design gardens, and help her friends. She is so excited to meet the families here at the West Goshen Goddard School!

My name is Majreha and I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. I have been working in early childhood education since 2021, at other local childcare centers, where I gained valuable experience in fostering children's growth and development. My journey in education began even earlier, as I also worked as a Teacher at Merit Care School in Bangladesh, giving me a strong foundation in working with diverse learners. I hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, but my passion for teaching led me to the field of early childhood education. I love helping children explore the world around them, develop essential skills, and build confidence through play and structured learning experiences.
