  • Mr Bill and Melanie

    Mr Bill and Melanie

    Owners
    Bill and Melanie Hyatt are the owners of The Goddard School of Greenville (Pelham Road). Bill and Melanie have three wonderful children, Miller, Alexander and Parker. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her bachelor of arts degree in management and master of arts in teaching and marketing education. She also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students including preschool, elementary, high school, and college. Melanie combines her love of giving back to others with her experience of high standards in education. Bill is from Greenville (SC) and received his retail management degree from The University of South Carolina. He has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where the children are having fun while learning.

    Kim

    Regional Director
    Kim Groves is originally from North Carolina and moved to Greenville in 2003. She joined our Simpsonville management team in 2007 when we expanded our facility. Kim attended Western Carolina University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and psychology, with a focus in child psychology. Kim's previous experience includes being a preschool teacher for five years, the director of a preschool program and the director of an extended day program with Greenville County schools. Kim is currently our Goddard School regional director. She does a great job of maintaining an active system of parent-school connection and supporting our management and teaching staff within all our schools! Kim is a Goddard School director mentor for other directors and has become an amazing resource for many other schools within our franchise. She was recognized for amazing talents, dedication, and hard work by winning The Goddard School National Director of the Year award.
  •  Alexander

    Alexander

    Business Manager
    Alexander Hyatt grew up in the Greenville area. Alexander graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in supply chain management. After college, he was a realtor in the Greenville area. He has previous experience working with children of various ages, including coaching high school basketball summer camp programs and being a Vacation Bible School camp counselor for elementary age children. Alexander and his wife, Celeste, have three beautiful children, two of which attend The Goddard School.
  •  Rebecca

    Rebecca

    Executive Director
    Rebecca Greene-Rettig is originally from Orlando and moved to Greenville this summer with her husband and two children. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of Central Florida. She has been working in early childhood education for 8 years with infants through 5 year-olds. Rebecca’s previous roles include multi-purpose teacher, preschool teacher, assistant director and school director. Rebecca’s two children also attend the Goddard School.

    Allison

    Director of Operations
    Allison Ellis is originally from central New York, but she and her family have lived in the Greenville area since 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in human development from Eckerd College and her Master of Science degree in human resource management from Capella University. Allison has been in the education field for 23 years. Her previous roles include public school substitute teacher, before & after school teacher, preschool teacher, before & after school program director, summer camp director, preschool assistant director and school director. When she’s not at The Goddard School, Allison enjoys hiking, true crime mysteries and spending time with her husband and three children.
