Our Teachers

Sarah is the on-site owner for The Goddard School located in Cypress and Bridgeland. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and she and her husband are the proud parents of 4 teenage boys, including a set of triplets. Sarah recognized the need for quality childcare that could provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children and has been nothing short of impressed with The Goddard School commitment to create just that. A resident of Cypress, she is proud to bring this fun atmosphere to this area in which she and her family live. Her door will always be open for the thoughts, questions and comments from our families.

Ms. Kat is the Area Director for our Cypress 1 and Bridgeland locations. She has 25 years of experience as an early childhood educator. Kat attended the University of Houston and holds a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Kat has 20+ years experience as a Director and lead The Goddard School Cypress location for 10 years. She is an advocate for early childhood education and strongly believes in quality. Kat has led several schools through the NAEYC and Cognia Accreditation process and takes pride in maintaining the standards. Kat’s passion for the field comes from her deep desire to make a difference in the lives of all children.

Mrs. Valerie is our Director of Operations. She has over 14 years of experience working with young children. Valerie has her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston. She joined The Goddard School Cypress location in 2013 and transferred to our Bridgeland location to assume the Director of Operations role.

Mrs. Miesha is our Assistant Director at The Goddard School- Bridgeland. She has 10 years of experience working as an Assistant Director with a Director's License. Miesha's beliefs are about empowering students to think critically, engage with the material, and become lifelong learners.

Ms. Carolina is our Administrative Assistant. She has been working at The Goddard School-Bridgeland for 1 year. She currently attends Lonestar College and will be graduating with an Education Degree. Carolina enjoys watching children grow and learn and wants to touch children's lives leaving a lasting impact on them. Making children feel welcomed is so important to her.

Ana is the Lead Teacher in the Infant classroom. She has 5 years of experience working with children under the age of two. Ana believes that children should always feel welcomed and loved so they are able to blossom.

Mrs. Gabriela is the Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom and has 4 years of experience working with children. Gabriela has her Bachelors degree in Modern Humanities and believes that children learn best with love and kindness.

Ms. Sieanna is the Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with young children and is currently attending HCC and will get her degree in Teaching Education. Sieanna believes that children and babies are a joy in life and unique in their own way

Mrs. Laura is the Lead Teacher in the Infant 2 classroom. Laura has 22 years of experience working with young children. She believes that children learn by example, routine and repetition and will do her best to make sure every child is ready for the day.

Ms. Vanessa is the Assistant Teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has her associates from Lonestar College and decided she wanted to work with young children. She believes that children are special in their own way and teaching is important to do.

Mrs. Darinka is the Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom. She has her Bachelors degree and has been a substitute at Lone Star College. Darinka says the perfect relationship between a student and a teacher is to have communication.

Mrs. Kirenia is the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. She has 2.5 years of experience working with children 18-24 months and has her Bachelors in Humanities.

Ms. Yasmeen is the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. She has a nursing degree and feels that children need attention, love & should be taught values.

Mrs. Ruth is the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She has 2 years of experience working with children. Ruth believes the most important thing a teacher can do is teach children to believe in themselves.

Mrs. Liliana is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set 1 classroom. She has 7 years of experience working with children. Lily says the best thing for children is to be aware of what they need because each child is different

Mrs. Irma is the Lead Teacher for our Young Toddlers classroom. She has 20+ years of experience working with young children and 11 of those years are with The Goddard School. Irma has a Child Development Associates. She believes that learning should be a fun experience she loves to sing and dance with her children.

Ms. Lindsay is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set 1 classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with children from Infants to Get Set. Lindsay understands that every child learns differently so it is important to be patient with them.

Ms. Kaliese is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom. She got her Bachelors in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University. Kaliese says that education is a journey and believes that each student should be treated as equal.

Ms. Jazmyn is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She has prior experience working with children at her school and is currently going to Lone Star College. Jazmyn loves to cheer children up when they are down.

Nellys is a Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School. She has her Bachelors degree in Chemistry but found a love for children when she had the opportunity to be a substitute teacher. She says that each child is a unique and special person and being successful in the teaching process is about instilling good habits and value in each child.

Ms. RaeVan is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom. She has her Bachelors in Arts and has 1.5 years of experience working with children. RaeVan believes the perfect teacher provides a safe space for students to grow and feel comfortable in.

Ms. Maria is the Assistant Teacher in Preschool 2. She believes that each child develops in their own time and strives to account for all differences in learning.

Ms. Lori is the Lead Teacher for our Prekindergarten I classroom. She has 12 years of experience working with children at the preschool and elementary ages. Lori has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. She believes that children are generally interested in anything and are eager to learn new things. Lori feels that being able to teach young children is a gift.

Ms. Desiree is the Lead Teacher in the Get Set 2 classroom. She has 3.5 years of experience working with children. Desiree's philosophy is to lead by example. She strives to be the best teacher and wants to be remembered by children with a fun and positive experience.

Ms. Nevaeh is our Assistant Teacher. She has 4 years of experience working with young children and currently attends the University of Houston. When teaching, Nevaeh says she strives to keep a very safe and fun environment.

Ms. Sharlin is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set 2 classroom. Sharlin has prior experience working with children and is currently attending Lone Star College. After starting to work with children, Sharlin realized that with just a smile on her face, she can bring such a positive effect on children.

Ms. Jenna is our Assistant Teacher. Jenna believes that children learn a lot through their own experiences and she always wants to help a child when she can.

Ms. Imelda is the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom. She has 8 years of experience working with children. Imelda has her degree in Business Management and loves to show children that she is there for them and treats each child as her own.

Ms. Erieny is the Assistant Teacher in the PreK classroom. She has 3 years of experience and is currently going to Lone Star College. Erieny knows that teachers should help children grow and be in a safe and healthy environment.

Ms. Estella is the Lead Teacher in Pre K 2. She has 20+ years teaching children from infants to five years old. Estella has an Associates Degree in General Studies and a Child Development Associates. She believes that each child develops in their own time and strives to account for all differences in learning.

Ms. Roniyah is the Assistant Teacher for the PreK 2 classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with children and currently attends Lonestar College for teaching. She believes that all teachers should provide a structured and safe environment for children to learn.
