Our Teachers

Robert and Jiena are the dedicated owners of The Goddard School in Crossroads. Robert has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Jiena has a Master’s degree in Music Composition. They have two sons, Ian and Carson, and a daughter named Zoey who are all currently attending a Goddard School. They are committed to making sure that each child who passes through The Goddard School doors are loved and cared for. Their high standards for excellence and customer service are apparent throughout the school, and they are happy to be able to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children in this community.

Ms. Canisha our director has extensive experience spans a variety of childcare settings, from early childhood education to providing personalized care for infants and school-age children. Known for her warm, empathetic approach, Canisha ensures every child feels safe, supported and valued.

Ms. Qaljana, serves as the Assistant Director at The Goddard School. Raised in Klein, Texas, she completed her education at Klein High School. With over a decade of experience across various educational levels, she has consistently returned to her true passion: Early Childhood Education. Her commitment to nurturing young minds and positively impacting their lives has always been a driving force for her. As a devoted mother of two, she cherishes her children, who reignited her enthusiasm for her vocation. In her leisure time, Ms. Nay enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and spending quality moments with her family. She is eager to contribute to the team and engage with the wonderful families and children at The Goddard School.

Ms. Williams is originally from Louisiana. She relocated to Houston, TX in 2005. She's worked in Early Child Care for 19 years, 11 of those years she has worked as a lead teacher. Ms Williams is the Lead Teacher for our Infants Classroom. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and dancing. Her philosophy is that "All children are butterflies, so let them flutter." Miss Niesha is an Assistant Director at Goddard Jersey Village. She joined Goddard in October 2022. Niesha has 15 years experience in the early childhood education industry. She wears many, many hats during the course of any day: Interacting with parents, running the building, doing tours, helping teachers, on and on. Niesha is our Health & Safety lead, which includes monthly mock quality assurance audits and conducting fire, intruder, and severe weather drills. Miss Niesha loves being around and interacting with children of all ages. She enjoys reading books with children and loves singing and dancing with them…Any music will do but her favorite is instructional/move & grove Miss Niesha has completed Goddard Systems Director Training, and she has her State of Texas Director License.
