Our Teachers

Terry and his wife, Baohuyen, are raising 3 children of their own and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment, which is why they chose The Goddard School. Terry is proud to offer the opportunity for children to grow through exploration and hands-on learning. Terry has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, as well as an MBA and a MS in Hospitality Management. Baohuyen is a registered nurse at MD Anderson. Terry and his family enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting museums, zoos and parks together.

Stephanie started her career in Early Childhood Education after serving in the United States Navy from 1995-1999 as a MM Engineer. After leaving the military she began as a nursery caregiver and implemented curriculum as a teacher in toddler, preschool and school age classrooms. She is committed to providing a safe, loving and nurturing environment at The Goddard School at Spring Klein. She went to Texas State University for Business Management in Early Childhood Education, received her Child Development Associate (CDA) and Directors Credentials in 2004. She has her Lead Teacher Credential and is a Certified Kid's Nutrition Specialist. On her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, with her children & grandchildren and training with her husband for competitions in Powerlifting, boxing and 5K Runs for causes that are near to her heart. She like to volunteer with her church and she is part of the Children's Heart Foundation and WINGS Ministries.

Ms. Ashley joined our Goddard family in February 2025. She is from a small town in Kansas but moved to Texas and grew up in Dallas. After receiving her associates degree, she spent a few years at The University of Houston where she studied Hospitality. Over the years, I have gained so much knowledge and experience while working in childcare that it has pushed me towards pursuing a career in Education Administration. I truly have a passion for children and making their learning experiences better in any way she can! Watching them learn and grow each day is what she aspires to see most. She is a boy mom of 2 and loves nothing more than being a mom and spending time with her family.

Leanna has been part of our Goddard family since August of 2016 and has over 10 years experience teaching children. Her desire to work in the early childhood field was based on her love for nurturing children and her passion for being a part of the early learning process at the beginning stages. In her spare time she enjoys decorating, shopping and helping others.

Ms. Araceli joined our Goddard family in her senior year at Klein Collins. She has been a part of our team since March 2022. As one of our pre-toddler teachers she uses her excitement, energy and love for music & dancing to teach her children. Ms. Celi (as the children call her) is currently enrolled in classes working towards her teacher certificate, her ultimate goal is to become a special needs educator in the school district. You will also see her from time to time in the front office, when she isn't teaching she is assisting with administrative duties, health and safety trainings and parent communication. Ms. Celi say's she enjoys coming in to school every day and seeing the smiles on her students faces.

Ms. Erika is part of our infant/toddler teaching team. She has been part of our Goddard Family since October 2021. She has taught our young toddlers and now focuses on teaching our infants. Ms. Erika is currently working towards her Medical Radiologic Technology AAS Degree. Her favorite part about teaching at Goddard is sharing her love for bilingual music and reading stories to her students. On her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Bernice joined our Goddard family in early 2024, she comes to us with 2 years of experience teaching infants-toddlers. Ms. Bernice teaches with a hands on approach. In her infant classroom you will see her guiding her students through the early stages of walking, developing their gross motor skills, learning communication through sign language and even Spanish. On her spare time Ms. Bernice enjoys the quiet serene moments.

Ms. Judy is our infant/toddler teacher. She is eager to teach our littles through song, dance and creativity. She has been a part of our Goddard family since June 2022. On her free time she enjoys her family, and time relaxing.

Ms. Mary joined our Goddard family in 2024, since joining our team Ms. Mary has worked with our 18-23 month old children. She enjoys singing, dancing and engaging with them. On her spare time she enjoys outdoors, books and family & friends.

Ms. Jalisa has been a part of the Goddard Family since 2024. She started out as support staff with our mentor teachers in Pre-k and is now teaching her own class with the young toddlers. She enjoys one on one time, small group activities and exploring the outdoors with her students. On her spare time she enjoys cosmetology and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Maria joined our Goddard family in 2024. Her interest in teaching stems from being part of a big family and having experience with younger siblings. She has demonstrated love and patience as she journeys through teaching in the toddler classroom. When asked what she enjoys most about teaching she said " to gain experience with the children, have fun with them and help them learn new vocabulary." She is currently studying to gain her real estate license and in the future work in the real estate industry. Right now Ms. Maria says she is focused and helping the children learn and grow mentally and physically. On her free time she enjoys reading books, fitness & the outdoors.

Ms. Ashley has been a part of our Goddard family since September 2023. During her time with us she has made huge contributions with her teaching style. She has worked with all age groups and has found and planted her roots in the Pre-K 4 classroom working alongside her mentor. Ms. Ashley is creative, an artist and enjoys learning each child's individual needs and finds ways to better support them in their growth. She is currently enrolled in college and completing her degree in Business Marketing.

Kim has been a part of our Goddard family since January of 2017. She comes to us with over 15 years of teaching experience in preschools and has the lead teacher credential. She believes that teaching is her purpose in life and would not dream of doing anything else. Ms. Kim works with our 4 and 5 year olds and feels the most important aspect about her job is to be a positive role model and an inspiration to children. Her goal for the classroom is to help children develop independence, self confidence and self efficacy. Ms. Kim enjoys spending time with her family and watching football and basketball during her spare time.

Ms. Makayla has been a part of our Goddard family since 2024. Ms. Makayla has completed her lead teacher credential and is always learning more about developmentally appropriate practices that will help her students grow. She is currently teaching alongside Ms. Kim as they prepare their students for Kinder. She also works with our school age program and summer camp programs. Ms. Makayla currently enjoys training for her first marathon.

Mr. Ja'Lyn is a recent graduate from Klein Collins, he originally attended our Goddard school 9 years ago as a student when we first opened our doors to the community and now he is a part of our team. He is working as our chef and classroom support as he continues his education. Mr. Jalyn is working on completing his degree in computer science. During his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, drawing and creating games.
