We are so happy to be members of the Goddard family! Our son has been attending since the school's inception and we have been thrilled with the level of care and effort from the teachers, administrators, owners, and supporting staff. If there are any issues, they do a very good job of accommodating the children. Their teachers are fantastic and my son loves coming to school. I cannot be more impressed with the childcare Goddard School Alexandria (West) provides.

Our child is in the PK2 class. I really like how they prepare the children for Kindergarten. The structure of the schedule and the topics they cover are exactly what we wanted our child to focus in before starting school.

We truly love this school. Every teacher my child has had has been warm loving and seems to love their job. Which you can tell by how they treat their students and even the warmth that extends to us as parents. The curriculum taught keeps kids interested, excited and motivated to want to learn more. The faculty and staff are approachable and always willing to explain or help with any situation that arises. We truly wish this school extended past Pre-K as we would keep her enrolled there.

My daughter is in PK2. I feel that the curriculum is truly preparing her for Kindergarten. The classroom teachers communicate VERY well with both positive things and anything that would be of concern.

A nice wonderful experience, been a month since the baby has started his first daycare and he’s settled in so well. Luke loves, trusts his teachers and enjoys his new school. Very patient and kind with my child. Adaptable to change without affect my child’s development. My 2 year old loves going to “school” every day so that really says something about what they are doing there. I also absolutely love to pictures I receive throughout the day of my child playing and learning.

It’s a great school. Location is convenient, the Director and owners are awesome. Turnover is a bit of an issue and communication could be improved a bit but again great school. I rate this as a 9 because it’s very expensive and not everyone can afford the steep tuition.

The directors and front office are very responsive and visible. There is complete insight into the classroom despite Covid-19. Everyday there are pictures sent and detailed descriptions of the day’s activities and lesson plan.

We like that our baby seems to be engaged in many different activities throughout the day. I wish that there were more feedback from the teachers about how our baby is doing each day. there aren’t many short notes about whether she is in a good mood, engaging well with others, eats well, sleeps well, etc.
