Welcome to Our School

The Goddard School of Chantilly (East Gate) is a warm and nurturing space where extraordinary awaits your child each and every day.

We opened in 2011, committed to creating the kind of fun, enriching learning environment that we wanted for our own three children. We have two nationally recognized accreditations, demonstrating our continued commitment to excellence. We offer full-time, part-time, and after-school programs. We welcome new families all year long, serving South Riding, East Gate, Aldie, and other Chantilly area neighborhoods. Our accredited Private Kindergarten program is enrolling now for Fall 2025!

Meet Brad & Risa

Owner

Mr. Brad and Ms. Risa are the proud owners of both Goddard Schools in Chantilly; Chantilly (Westfields) opened in 2003, and Chantilly (East Gate) opened at the end of 2011. Risa has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and serves as the Senior Education Director for the schools. Risa was previously a 4th and 5th grade teacher, so she knows well that an exceptional school depends on exceptional teachers. Risa oversees the hiring of every teacher we invite to join The Goddard School, and, as Senior Education Director, she makes sure that the environment we provide is caring, fun, safe, and educational. Brad is the business manager of both schools. Brad was trained as a lawyer, and he brings ten years of experience in the banking industry to the business side of running the school. Welcome to our School!

Goddard has been a constant in our lives for about 7 years now and especially during COVID times, we have once again trusted this school with our children. We are thankful that they staff has worked so hard to enable a safe place for our kids to learn and grow and to try to make the most of this year! Thank you!

The quality of the teachers is the best thing about the teachers at Goddard. However, to retain those excellent teachers, they have to be supported by a stellar office & support staff, director and owners. Enrolling our child at The Goddard School is THE BEST educational decision we feel we could have made. Superior education, loving/dedicated/professional staff, CLEAN and SAFE environment... what's NOT to love? :)

We appreciate everything that the Goddard School has done during this pandemic to keep the teachers and students safe. We are also very pleased with all the teachers and management staff. They are very caring and responsive. Our daughter loves going to school every day and has continued to develop her reading and math skills. She loves learning and I credit her teachers for that. We will miss you all!

First, the teachers and staff are so nice and caring. Second, they have been so wonderful with all the changes due to COVID. Their flexibility and willingness to bring in teachers to help with the School Aged kids so they could do their Distance Learning at Goddard and allow parents to work was wonderful! We are truly appreciative of all they are doing to help us, our kids, and to keep everyone safe!
