Ms Lisa
OwnerMy name is Lisa Loveless and my daughter and I own the school together. When my daughter and I decided to go into business for ourselves, we looked for something where we would be able to provide a service to the community. That led us to opening a Goddard School. I believe that our philosophy of encouraging the development of the whole child in a supportive and loving atmosphere will help our children embrace a lifelong love of learning and leave our school with the tools to be successful not just in primary school but throughout life. -
Ms Sarah
OwnerMs. Sarah is passionate about providing the highest quality early learning experience for the students at The Goddard School since opening the doors in 2014. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a music minor. She is a working mom to two beautiful children and understands how important it is to find a safe, nurturing, supportive, and fun learning environment where children can grow. -
Megan
Education DirectorMs. Megan is passionate about ensuring children in our program have access to hands on learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate and fun. Ms. Megan has worked with Goddard since 2015. Prior to joining our Goddard school in 2020, she worked with infants through pre-K students as a classroom teacher. Ms. Megan enjoys spending time with family, traveling to new places and camping. Ms. Megan has a bachelor's degree in Family consumer science from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Director credential from National Louis University. -
Abigail
Lead TeacherMs. Abby has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Carthage College. She is the lead teacher in our two year old room. She has worked with children in a child care setting since 2021. Ms. Abby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the zoo, taking road trips, walking by the lake and going on amusement park rides. -
Amanda
Lead TeacherAs a lead teacher, Ms. Amanda provides a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for our infants. She enjoys building strong relationships with her families through daily communication. Ms. Amanda has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2014. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing an Infant/Toddler credential. Ms. Amanda enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Ms. Amanda was nominated for Goddard's Teacher of the Year award for the Central region in 2022, 2023 and 2024. -
Clara
Lead TeacherMs. Clara works with our Bridge group as the lead teacher in the Playful Puppies. She enjoys implementing an age-appropriate curriculum that supports the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of her students. Ms. Clara is a dedicated professional who has been working with young children since 2014. She enjoys working on DIY projects, playing pickle ball, board games and traveling with her husband. Ms. Clara has an associate degree in early childhood education from Gateway Technical College. -
Katelyn
Lead TeacherMs. Katelyn has her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Graphic Design. She also has completed course work in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the field since 2013. Ms. Katelyn's favorite children's book is "You're My Little Cuddle Bug." She was nominated for Teacher of the Year in the Midwest Region in 2023. Ms. Kate is the lead teacher in our older toddler room. -
Kyla
Lead TeacherMs. Kyla works with the toddlers as the lead teacher in our Lovely Lambs classroom. She has been teaching since 2021, when she joined our program. Ms. Kyla has a Bachelor’s degree from Carthage College in Studio Art, with additional training in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her Infant and Toddler Credential through Gateway Technical College. In her spare time, she enjoys watching black and white films and reading. -
Bailey
TeacherMs. Bailey has a bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in special education. Ms. Bailey is the lead teacher in our Pre-K classroom, matching her energy to that of the older 4 and 5-year-olds. Ms. Bailey enjoys providing her students with fun, messy sensory activities. Prior to teaching with us, Ms. Bailey worked as a nanny and a lead teacher in Janesville. Ms. Bailey enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends, husband and son. -
Arnetta
Lead TeacherMs. Arnetta is currently a lead teacher in our older toddler classroom. She previously has experience teaching and directing with a variety of ages and working in the social services field. Ms. Arnetta has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and has completed some college coursework in child development. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in at on the Lake, hiking and being with her family. -
Karina
Lead TeacherMs. Karina has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Lake County. She is finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree in ECE with a license in regular and Special Ed from UW-Whitewater. Ms. Karina loves building strong relationships and making connections with children and their families. In her free time, Ms. Karina loves to catch up with a good book and a cozy blanket. -
Alivia
Lead TeacherMs. Alivia is the lead teacher in the Ponies classroom. She has an associate’s degree in early childhood education form Gateway Technical College. She has worked in the field since 2022 and has experience working with Preschool children. Alivia enjoys seeing children express themselves creatively and use their imagination through play. Alivia enjoys spending time with friends, reading, visiting coffee shops and being in the great outdoors. -
Breanne
Assistant TeacherMs. Brea works as an assistant teacher with our 3 and 4 year olds in the Duck classroom. Since joining us in 2021, she has spent most of her time working with toddlers. Ms. Brea has experience working with children of all ages, and abilities. She has taken classes in child development and is currently working towards an associate's degree in early childhood education. Ms. Brea's hobbies include hiking, kayaking, cycling, reading and painting. -
Ashley
Assistant TeacherMs. Ashley is the assistant teacher in our Playful Puppy room. She also helps out on a regular basis in the kitchen preparing snack in the morning and filling in when our cook is out. Ms. Ashley enjoys communicating with the families and children in her classroom. She has 3 daughters that keep her busy with lots of sports activities and is working on a degree in early childhood education. -
Chandler
Assistant TeacherMs. Chandler is working towards her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Gateway Technical College. Ms. Chandler has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2015. Ms. Chandler's favorite children's book is "Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes." -
Joanie
Resource-CookMs. Joanie is our kitchen manager. She plans our menus, preps our meals, manages supplies and safeguards the food safety of all children, especially those with food allergies. Ms. Joanie has worked as a lunchroom monitor, intervention ESP teacher, and lead teacher before joining us in 2021. Ms. Joanie has an associate degree in business management. She enjoys painting, hiking, camping and reading. -
Ms Whitney
Event CoordinatorMs. Whitney has been working in the Child Care field since 2010. She has taken a few courses in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's book is "The Little Blue Truck". -
Robin
Assistant TeacherMs. Robin provides high quality care for our toddlers in the Lovely Lamb classroom. As the assistant teacher, she loves helping set up fun learning activities and caring for her students. Ms. Robin has worked with children ranging in age from infant through school age in the past. Ms. Robin meets Infant/ Toddler training requirements. Her hobbies include reading, crafting, bowling, and spending time with her family. -
Jolene
Assistant TeacherMs. Jolene supports our staff in many ways in her role as a resource/float teacher. Ms. Jolene loves being a float because it allows her to interact with all of the children in our school. She also can be found helping out in the office, and kitchen when needed. Ms. Jolene studied early childhood education at McHenry County College and has a Preschool CDA. Prior to joining us in 2018, Ms. Jolene worked with toddlers at the Third Lake Goddard for 13 years. She loves doing yoga, taking walks with her husband and hanging out with her 3 granddaughters. She also loves to visit her son, his wife and their 2 dogs. -
Becky
Assistant TeacherMs. Becky supports all of our age groups as an assistant teacher. Prior to joining us, she has worked with preschool-1st grade children and was a stay at home mom for 13 years. Ms. Becky enjoys photography, writing, muscle cars, being in nature and making a positive difference for others! Ms. Becky has completed introductory coursework in childcare and psychology. She has been nominated for Teacher of the Year in 2023 and 2024. -
Ms Domenica
Assistant TeacherMs. Domenica supports all age groups as an assistant teacher. In addition to completing training in child development, Ms. Domenica has a background in fashion illustration and make up artistry. She has previously worked in child care in a group setting and as a nanny. She has been working in the early childhood field since 2013. Ms. Domenica is an animal lover who enjoys hosting book clubs with friends and movie nights with her husband and daughter. -
Mya
Assistant TeacherMs. Mya is the assistant teacher in the Calves classroom. She enjoys creating a safe, engaging learning environment for the infants in her care. Mya has worked with children ranging in age from birth through age eight. Ms. Mya has completed foundational training in child development. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading books, and listening to music. -
Gemma
Assistant TeacherMs. Gemma is the assistant teacher in our Brilliant Bunnies classroom. She has a background in Reggio-inspired and nature based learning environments. She enjoys creating exciting, creative experiences for the classroom both indoors and outdoors through art, science, and sensory play. Her time working with the Children's Museum and Science Museum in Minnesota as well as her love of theater can be seen in her work with children. Ms. Gemma has worked with a variety of ages, in private and group care since 2015. She enjoys spending time with her wife and daughter Violet going camping and swimming. Ms Gemma in lead teacher qualified and has her Infant/Toddler certification. -
Ania
Assistant TeacherMs. Anna supports all of our classrooms as a resource/float teacher. She loves reading stories to the children and engaging them in fun activities outside. Ms. Anna enjoys traveling with her husband and two young children as well participating in sports and spending time in nature. Ms. Anna is originally from Poland where she completed her bachelors and masters degrees in Tourism and Recreation. Anna has completed introductory coursework to meet the requirements of an assistant teacher. -
Hailey
Assistant TeacherMs. Hailey is the assistant teacher in our Peppy Ponies classroom. She loves supporting the growth and development of the students in her care. Ms. Hailey has completed coursework in child development. She enjoys hands-on arts and crafts projects, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. You can find Hailey baking and cooking treats and meals at home in her spare time.
