Never run out of sidewalk chalk again. You may run out of space to color, though!**
Materials
- 1 cup plaster of Paris*
- ¾ cup water
- Different colors of tempera paint (powdered or liquid)
- Disposable mixing bowls
- Disposable spoons or stirrers
- Silicone molds
*Wear gloves to protect your hands from the plaster or wash your hands thoroughly before the plaster dries on your skin. You can also use baking soda and cornstarch (or flour) instead of plaster of Paris, but the chalk won’t be as sturdy.
**An adult should oversee all activities. Activities may not be appropriate for all ages.
