    Owner
    Maria has an undergraduate degree in Education Psychology from Birmingham Southern University and an M.B.A. from University of Texas - Arlington. She has worked in various positions within the legal, telecommunications and website development industries and has found her true passion owning a preschool. Maria enjoys offering a loving and educational environment where children can develop into lifelong learners. She has experienced The Goddard School as a parent – both of her children are graduates of the school. Butch has a graduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in College Administration. He worked in Higher Education for several years before transitioning to a career in the telecommunications industry. He also has an MBA from Duke University. He is very active in the Cedar Park community, having served on the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. WHAT MAKES OUR FACULTY THE BEST? Our lead teachers are required to have education degrees and certifications. Many of our assistant teachers are also degreed or in the process of completing a degree. In addition to the customized daily lesson plans developed for your child by the lead teacher, our faculty includes a full-time music teacher and a fitness teacher that visit all classrooms throughout the week. Our teachers are carefully mentored and coached by our Curriculum Director to assure each child has a fun learning experience.

    Cindy has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Masters Degree in Education from Texas State University. Cindy has been in the child care and educational field for over 18 years in both the public and private school settings. Cindy taught in Austin ISD for 4 years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher and transitioned to a Literacy Specialist before making a move to Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh, Cindy began working at The Goddard School in Peters Township. She started working in the Toddler classroom, then became the Kindergarten teacher and ended her 5 year tenure as a Director. She enjoys the constant quest for knowledge that children bring and loves children's curiosity. You never know what they are going to say next! Cindy moved back to Texas in the summer of 2017 and became the Operational Director at the Goddard School in Cedar Park.

    In a career that has spanned a decade, Callie has dedicated herself to the world of childcare, leaving an indelible mark on early childhood education. Her journey began as an Infant Teacher, where she harnessed her innate ability to foster trust and security in the youngest of learners. A year later, she transitioned to the role of a Pre-K teacher, an environment where she flourished for two years, honing her pedagogical skills and deepening her understanding of early childhood development. With a strong foundation in place, Callie stepped into the role of Director, a position she held with distinction for two years. Her visionary leadership and commitment to educational excellence were immediately apparent. Today, as the Assistant Director at Goddard School, Callie continues to inspire, and lead her team in providing the highest quality of early childhood education.

    Holding a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University, Nickaylen stands as a testament to the fusion of academic expertise and practical experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. With three years of comprehensive experience working across diverse age groups, Nickaylen has honed an expertise that encapsulates a profound understanding of developmental nuances. Tasked with the responsibility of orchestrating school events and overseeing curriculum implementation within classrooms, Nickaylen serves as a cornerstone of educational leadership at our institution. Having made the transition to Austin in 2020, Nickaylen embarked on a journey at Goddard in May 2022, initially as a teacher, joined our administrative team in October 2023. Nickaylen's quick rise through the ranks shows her dedication to excellence and brings valuable knowledge and skills to our educational goals.

    Annex Manager
    Angela is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point in youth programming and camp management, possesses over a decade of dedicated service to children's enrichment. Commencing her career at 18, she garnered diverse experience with youth organizations in the Midwest and Arizona before her relocation to Texas. Angela has since flourished with the Girl Scouts of Central Texas, continuously showcasing her commitment to empowering young minds. Her contributions extend to the academic sphere, including student teaching in first grade within the Round Rock Independent School District and a role as a math camp counselor. Angela's journey embodies a harmonious union of academic excellence and practical expertise, making her a formidable presence in the realm of after-school care and youth development.
